to clarify because i've riled up some viewers:
i don't think usa rules the world, not even in the slightest, and i'm aware everyone's thinking is not the same. to add more context here (when the n word was being said around me) it was being used randomly to people they don't know, and i could see how uncomfortable it made multiple strangers (natives). i don't know, i don't think racial slurs are ever alright (personal opinion, no one else's). the entire thing is complicated lol. i could've explained more in the video, that's on me, but i didn't want to dwell on the subject. i hope that explains it a bit better
~

Brazil is not as dangerous as they say. Recently, the American actor Vicent Martella came to visit Brazil, visited different places, even had a beer with random people in the bar, and he was treated very well.

5:20 yeah, if you are not brazillian and heard about it imagine what brazillians actually hear about 'em
Dunno if someone already posted something like this but Brazil is not exacly like this. In fact, Brazil is way safer for Turist then for the Brazilian, of course, if you walk alone with your phone in your hand without paiyng attention at your surrounding, you will probably get robbed, BUT Brazil is one of the countries who has a relly warming community who embrace everyone who's willing to try and see our culture. I'd say that the majority of the brazillian people are very kind and try their best to make you confortable, even if they dont understand a single word that you say, they will pretend that they undestood and try to help you as hard as they can. If you come to Brazil, specially in the smaller cities, you will meet people that even if they hang out with you just this one time, you will be marked in their lives and probably become one of the closest friends for them, and I've lived in many different places. Brazil is an awesome country and yeah, it has your violence, but as long you dont go to a favela, or walk in a crowded street with your belongings showing up(neclkace, collars, braccelet) you will be pretty good and enjoy one of your best days of your entire life

In Brazil, obtaining the right to carry or possess a weapon is an infernal bureaucracy. And certain types of weapons and ammunition are restricted. Unfortunately we live in a very violent country.
It’s not much more dangerous Than a bad day on skid row
😂 oh god, i will visit regardless if it’s safe or not but KDJWJDJWKDKWJDHIWJDDBHE
Dude we survive everyday without the dólar Power, relax
With money this is a paradise
I mean you can come to Brasil, you'll be robbed if you're alone but not with a gun to your head, "Pra gringo é mais caro" basically that you can search if you want Ig you can find what it is, anyway if you come with a brazilian friend or meet someone here you 100% won't get involved on shit and won't get robbed with that, your friend will probably show you places where there aint gang members or wars, otherwise he'd be robbed and probably dead too so, my advice is, come with a legitimate br friend or become friends with a brazilian, only possible guaranteed way you won't have any problems. Other then that, Brasil is awesome, beautiful and the people are nice af.
in the video i made plenty of jokes but i plan to visit regardless. any areas you think would be good? O:
@@kikicruorIt depends on what you would like to experience: in addition to the traditional destinations of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, we have other regions that are really worth it!
I live in the Northeast region, which has warm beaches all year round, such as: Porto de Galinhas, Pernambuco; João Pessoa; Recife.
The southern region is much colder and has European colonization, some interesting places are: Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul; Florianópolis and Balneário Camboriú in Santa Catarina.
And the northern region has the forests, you can visit Manaus, Amazonas.
You will be very welcome
@@kikicruor definitely not Rio de Janeiro trust me
5:30 We are well align with this xD
It became a thing to warn foreigners since, before the World Cup and the Olympics, many came to Brazil and, for example, rented a house in the favela to “experience the life of a poor person” and then die.
If you want to do something away from the common tourist things, always ask a Brazilian, they will know the limits of the region better to keep you safe
Caramba a parte q ela comenta da altura dele so agr me caiu a ficha q ate isso não é igual na nossa cultura precisa converter para o sistema americano, doidera 😂
To be honest, yeah a good part of Brazil is this crap. Buuuut, for turists it's almost an paradise (just don't go to wrong places >.>), I can say by my self, since I made my AI company successful and I have money, everything has become safer. But this actually applies to any country. In Brazil it's just more. For example, I have my partner and (CEO) he is Estonian and I have many, friends from Canada, and a few in the USA, when they all come here, they have the best memories and some like my partner have lived for more than 5 years. You just need to have someone who knows where NOT TO GO. Furthermore, as it is a poor country and the dollar is 5x the value of the currency here, you will get the best of the best, very cheap.

Rafinha went to do comedy in US because majority of brazilians don´t like him
Sai for yourself, he was one of the pioneers to bring standup comedy to Brazil, and i aways liked his humor...had an oportunity to met him personally and he is also a really nice guy

i'm pretty sure that 99% of kiki mods are from RJ lol, if you are with some local isn't dangerous, also there's some places that definitely have more chances of danger, but again if you're with a local or if you know where you stepping into you should be fine, a lot of brazilian have sort of hate agains't Brazil and some sort of worship to E.U.A and americans in general, so they go to all non brazilians saying to not come to Brazil.

Brazil has dangerous places and calm places, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Brasília are safe, I live in Cuiabá, MT is very safe, but there is Rio de Janeiro, some places in the north and northeast of the country that are dangerous, Brazil is bigger than the US without Alaska, more than 5,000 cities, not everything is dangerous.
There are two channels on CZcams Tim explains and his foreign friend are Americans and live traveling all over Brazil.

How can you be so cute and so annoying at the same time??? Deffo blocking you so you will not show up on my timeline EVER AGAIN, like you did this time.... :D
17:18 Why do americans have such a hard time grasping that the history of their country isn't the history of every country, and most things that happen there do impact other countries? Let me guess you also think people outside the US celebrate 4th of July?
hello, fred! yes, i'm aware every country is unique, i'm no fool. dante in the replies "hit the nail on the head" that i was extremely uncomfortable with white people casually saying the n word when i left the country because it's so taboo where i'm from. it's the equivalent of someone saying the worst word you can think of from your country. hope that explains it!
-
@@kikicruor Look kiki, I'm really not trying to hate, I swear, but it is insensitive to treat other peoples cultures (their relationship with words is also part of their culture) as if they were inferior to yours. When you patronize them by "trying to explain" to them what it means, you're doing exactly that, and this is one example of culture imperialism, trying to push your culture onto others'.
What you're asking me to imagine does not need to be done, this happens in Rio, words that would be considered extremely offensive outside of Rio are used there as greetings between friends, does that give the right of the rest of the country to "explain to cariocas the shouldn't do that?" No, it's their culture, the meaning of the word is tied to culture of these people, same thing happens with the word "rapariga" in Portugal, it does not give us the right to questions Portuguese people for using it.
I say this with the best intentions, this is a classical example of "American exceptionalism," it is extremely disrespectful with others' cultures, obviously my comment won't change your mind, but maybe reflect on that, look into "American exceptionalism," and think what if other people did it to you, what if (hypothetically) people asked you not to use the word "guys" when referring to people, because etymologically it came from croatian and in croatian now this means a bad thing, don't you think this would be unfair since the US has nothing to do with culture behind the croatian use of the word "guys"?
@fredesch3158 You're trying so hard to flip the script to fit your narrative just so you can defend the use of a slur used to offend black people during slavery... You're definitely white and doesn't understand the weight of the word, just stop
