The fact I was able to build this on ASA made me really happy. Actually got a badass base. Tried to build some of your Tek builds on ASA, but since some of the building mechanocs have been 'fixed', its not possible.
Regardless, you got a new sub. Should definitely do more Tek builds in the future! I absolutely love the sharp diamond/triangular style you go for with these builds!

trying this on ASA and for the life of me keep ending up with gaps.

This is an amazing build. With a few tweaks I managed to recreate this using s+ mod after committing to it 😆
I never use s+ or any mods
If anyone runs into the problem at 6:06 in asa where you cant get the triangle ceilings to place. Place a thin horizontal tek pillar, place a triangle ceiling going out then it should snap the way you need it to and when you get rid of the extra ceiling it does not remove the required ceilings.

couldn't get it to snap right, overall terrible snappoints, but great build, i don't know if i want to continue building, it's terrible trying to get it exactly the same as yours
no mods, no S+, if you put large walls like at 9:24 it's super easy
You built it in the same place my former tribemate rebuilt your large tek base. Lol. Nice spot, except fir the ferox. Lol. Now that its only me left. I want to downsize and this looks more my style.

@YuTay CZcams the stuff in my previous comment. I built your star base on fjordur its perfect for me solo. But the curvature reminded me of the aforementioned style
Hey man, this is amazing! You've totally inspired me man haha! I'm new to Ark but totally hooked and only a measly 90hrs in (I'm told upwards of 10,000is common? Wow!).
That being said, I've just started building with Tek and reckon I'll give this a go! Is there any chance you have a list of all the items you inside the building? Also, I'm playing on ASA and from the video, this looks like it was built on super flat terrain. Any advice for getting started on a more hilly, obstructed area? Huge thanks again, I'll definitely be watching more of your vids!
at 9:00 how did you get the triangle roof to snap into place? I got in the first overlap, but not the second one.

Angle of camera are difficult but it's possible, i don't use S+
I know this was forever ago but i hope you see this. In having a super hard time putting the triangles on top of the squares when you build the circle. I play asa and i need a cool base how do i go about fixing that???

I'm assuming this was all built with no clip enabled for builds? i mainly play official servers so was curious if this was possible to be built with official build settings.

What great build I really wish I could get items to snap the way you do. Are you running a special mod on the server to give you more snapping option???

Im having some serious issues with the sloped triangle roofs, there are gaps at the sides and top, any ideas why?
have you flipped the Large Wall like at 9:24 ?
You have to make sure they’re snapping to other triangles and not other structures or it’ll make a gap

How did you get the triangle ceiling to fit into the square one at min 6:06 ?
@@darylthebarrel9103place a triangle ceiling on the outside of the square also make sure placement collision is on too

Hey quick question at 19:50 I have a gap on where you you connect the slopes roof to the triangles there a gap between the middle across to the other side how did you not get a gap?
