Under $1k I'd go with either the Yamaha rx-a1080 or rx-a880 whichever fits your budget best

Huh. Looks cool, but wow, that's expensive. For starters, my 7.1.2 system set me Back 1700 Bucks and that includes an Elac S12Eq and a Marantz SR6011. By that I mean - you can get a very, very good complete Homecinema-system for those 4000$.

@@HomeTheaterHobbyist I think Nakaimichi dragon soundbar 11.4.6 for $3500 got it right in 2023!! I don't know what happened to this product but it was too expensive 🫰 IMHO
I remember buying the Nakaimichi 9.2.4 SSE for 1299 instead and it was so good I bought 2. Now I'm ready to upgrade to the dragon!!!
