*Honda for the love of god if you are reading this start making two strokes again!!*
They never will thanks to obama
Bruh, u mean bush. Obama was elected in 08. Honda stopped making smokers in 07.
Chris Tsouras 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ how old are you? Cause i was old enough to remember when obama and the epa set regulations on 2 strokes as soon as he was in office. 08 which is why they never made an 08 2stroke
Great bike ...got to ask whats with the guns...expecting an invasion lol
Mr Gov euroman .China bought the tooling for the yamaha dt230 lanza and called it the tse250 that was thire first go at making a 2 stroke & that wasn't long ago that they did that its ashamed we dont follow & start re making 2 strokes instead of crying about climate change but we all live in a world where they would like everyone to be boring & do has your told if it was upto me I'd ban all the electric shite they make nowadays
I’ve actually ridden a brand new one as an adult in 84(managed a dealership) and, like Sr., was blown away at how FAST it was. Crazy fun, couldn’t believe people actually bought them for kids though. Scary fast.
Try to picture being in the Trail and THAT whole Get-up comes flying by you....... 🤣🇺🇸🤣
And all while puffin on a smoke.
That sound never gets old 🙌🏾
I used to speedshift just like the guy in the video except at 12 years old it wheelied pretty vertical through all 6 gears. I absolutely appreciate hearing it again after 35 plus years.
My brother owned a CR60 and the power band was ridiculous! for such a small bike! He certainly regrets selling it!
I had one of these back in 84. Got it new when I was 12. This little bike was fast as hell
I had a 1987 CR 60 and that thing was freaking unbelievable. I still cannot believe how much grunt and power that bike had
The last year the Cr 60r was made was 1984
I have an 83 cr60 I've owned since 1998. I will never sell it. These were only made in 83/84 in the USA. Awesome little vintage 2 strokes.
This was my first bike as a kid. Then got a 96 YZ80 new.
I have a 96 yz250. All stock/original. Best color scheme ever.
@@yamaharaptor01able i have a 95 model
had one as a youth total basket case back then, zero brakes. loved every second . Ripper
We need Kaplan of America to start campaigning so Honda can start making 2 strokes again...thank you and god bless America 🇺🇸
I swear all old Honda have that beautiful sound to them
Oh man the memories. My first racing dirtbike was a cr 60. Powerful little bike and won my first race on one in the summer '84. 125cc was as far as i went but the sound of the little cr 60cc took me back over 38 years. Thanks for post this video👍
That's just insane that a little 60cc rocket going that hard with Ken on it. It is just an example of how good 2 strokes from the 80's are. It's a criminal offence that that little beast is so iconic. The only thing that gets close is the KX 60. But wow how times have changed, cause mini bikes of today suck compared to this little monster.
never seen a CR 60 until now they are quit rare wot a little ripper suprised us
I've seen the CR60 Before
Holy Moly, and in 1973 I thought my sl-70 was quick...can you imagine a 75lbs kid on this bad boy😲
They were nicknamed the “kid killer”
Watching you guys check the bottom of the frames...... I checked by 89 CR125 and has not a ding in it👍👍👍👍👍👍
This was my first bike, I cant help but chuckle when my son brags about how powerful his go cart (212 cc predator) engine is for how small it is. Its been so long since I had the bike that I sometimes doubt my memory on how badass that bike was. Thanks for letting me know it wasnt just all in my head.
That would look so good next to my 84 cr500r
Daaaanngg!! Killer machine!! Wow, wish I was 12 years old again. Man that brings back memories. I had a 1980 yz50 bought second-hand and then later bored out to a 60. That is a little screamer!! Beautiful piece of work. Keep up the perfectionist mentality there at the Museum. Nothing too good for those old vintage 2 strokes. You guys bring a lot of joy to us middle-aged old timers that used to ride those bikes back in the 80s. Keep it up!!
I don't know where to start w/u?!
Ur age, weight & riding that CR60!
And all the other bikes! Last chance @ least let me live in ur museum. I would do anything to b u for 1 or more days. Too cool. Ur posts always make me happy!! TY 👍🙂
Good catch !!! Sooo cool she pulled you up like nothing- 6’-2” - 240 💪🏻🙏
Ok I thought I was crazy, I was born in 83 a die hard dirt bike guy and we only had the kx 60s and the cr80s. Crazy shit man I love it!
Little wheelie machine! Love it! What a little beast these where! I also loved the kx 60 and 65
First bike I ever owned (actually mine was an 83). I wish all kids could be so lucky
This bike is a Rocket Ship This thing Sounds Angry, Happy Birthday to Me Celebrate my Birthday, This is a Kick ass 2 Stroke.
YES!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PETTY, PLEASE Honda! Bring back CR250R! Bring them 2 stroke back.🙏😁
I'm 48 years old now my first bike in 1983 was a ty 80 ,had a load of kx 125s after that .my last bike in 2012 was a 2003 zx6r ,God bless Japan .I just love German beer now and guiness
Daymn I miss my Bike.. That 1 is almost exactly like my bike was.. When we lived in San Diego California My father bought me a Cr 60 when I turned 10 in 89.. I had the 84 , was either that or baby Ninja.. My mom wasn't feeling the street bike and my father already had a quad 250 r so I got the 60..
Here the ping smell the smoke I just love a 2 stroke
I had this bike in 1984. And of course a CR 80 a year or two later. 👍
Me too, won my first race on one.125cc was the farthest i went.
Happy to say I own 2 of these both could use work but 1 runs and only requires new tires
Hi there, awesome bike, I turn 47 this Tuesday, I had a brand new CR 60 and CR 80 in 1984, I raced wi district 16, and some of Illinois district 17, had great memories on the CR 60, great video, hope you get good money out of it
I know one for sale ...$1500 8 out 10 overall shape / strong engine ...think i should buy it 🤔
My friend had one that he loaned me for my boys. After I rode it I said hell no! That thing is a micro death machine! Can’t believe they actually made those for kids. Different times back then.
Wow that thing is moving even with u on it
That thing is sick. Honda made some great bikes Id love to have that in my collection one day
Nice little mini !
What an absolute Jem....Suzuki Had a TM50 back in the day also, very rare machines....you guys are incredible....sweet machine
You mean JR50. 1978
I just watched the YZ60 video you made last year, and this CR60 looks like it would put the YZ60 to shame.
thats one powerful little machine
Paint the frame and swingarm the original colors, and do some seat foam work work! Sounds tight though.
Well Ken actually i seen mabe about 8 to 15 of thease CR60. Thay r as fast as a YZ80. Ya.. GOD BLESS AMERICA. MY DAUGHTER IS ALMOST 11YRS OLD SHE WOULD B SCARED. SHE CRYS WHEN I STARTED MY 82 FXR. YA MOM WON'T RIDE ITHER
Such a sweet bike. I had an 86 very similar. It would lift the front wheels at high RPM easily. Very high RPM screamer
Hens teeth!! Pulls like a train - awesome job guys!
That little thing would put me straight into the hospital. And I’m a CR500 guy.
Didnt even know they made a 60. Beast
I always said that John Connor would have escaped the t1000 if he was on a cr60
Every kids dream back then..wish they still made affordable 2strokes now..cool video..it'll sell quick!!!
I had one of these when I was 6 years old
And it feels even that much quicker sitting so much lower to the ground compared to it's big brother's CR125 CR250 & CR500 ...lol ...neat little moto-crosser for sure 😎
Nice ride.
Sweet bike andknow you guys really like the white but these bikes with gold rims and yellow number plates take on a whole new look imho. In the end the best color is a metallic muddy dirt.
That's a little Rocket. My first bike was a Kawasaki KX65 when I was 8 and and it still rips today
My cousin has a 2019 kx65 it’s crazy fast with me on it, but I’m only 130lbs! I would love to have a little bike like that just for the heck Of it! Keep up the great work guys!
First bike I flipped hard . My son started on a kx 60 and it ripped. Now he has a yz250x
I have just completely restored my 50 cr honda 1983 to give to my nephew, I filmed everything on the way, the videos come out every Saturday at 6 p.m. on my CZcams channel ( english subtitles available)
I had a brand new 1984 CR 60. It ripped. Button raced one.
Me and my friend have 3 of them, but they are the 86 models very fast bikes for there size
Had one as a kid! , best time ever. Found a 1985 to put in my collection in 2019.
Wrong, sorry to tell you the last year made was 1984.
@@gregoryastonalexander6480, last year made for the Usa was 1984, Canada had them up till 1985.
@@gunnz23 well I stand corrected, it must be left over 84 sold as 1985's.
I remember that Canada had 1989 Honda Trx 250 quads.
In the US 1988 was the last year.
That was my first bike and Holy crap! It ain't no pw50!!!!
I have one 1983 only a 2 year machine 83 and 84 mines complete who wants it? also got a KDX 400 super rare and mint shape......
I remember a local selling one back in 03 it was a dream bike for me but I settled with a new jr80 because I was a young Pastrana fan. I nearly lost it when I got a fmf on it, still got the picture in my wall had yellow shirt with a pastrana 199 hat that I got at AMA event in Dallas. Lol sadly pastrana wrecked in his first Moto but the fact I got to see him on the bike was all that mattered
My uncle had one of these. Rare as heads teeth.
60cc powerful little ripper..
Amazing
A great bike for Larry
First thing I thought too
That wud look perfect on my fireplace mantle!!!
My best friend had one of these while I had the 1985 cr125, great times.
80% rider is a 100% right!!
I had a 1984 CR 80 with a killer power band and a jb welded case kept oil in her and couldn’t keep the front wheel down was a beast.
👍 Nice looking bike, for sure ! I remember these, but back then I had every Honda sales brochure in my bedroom, wish I still had them...
Wow im a 11 years old pilipno and i love 2 stroke i wish i have one just one
Sick!
I had one of these brand new 1983 cr60
That’s thing is beautiful man Jebus rice
Never even suspected they made one. I woulda died and gone to heaven if i coulda got my hands on one in the 80s.
I love the lil bikes they are so much fun kap 💪😎
Friend of mine had the same bike when we were kids. Super fast for a kid man they rip
🗣That shit ready to go 💯💯
Braaap braaaap braaaaaaaap brap!
That is Sick!!!!
I never knew they ever existed!
I had an 83 cr 60 so fast it was stolen when i was 8 . memories.
The frame red and the swingarm silver would have been🔥🔥 just like stock... otherwise very nice resto...
This is the bike John Connor should have been riding in Terminator 2 😜
Never even knew they made one wow
Had one. CR80 fenders on this one.
There were here in canada but they were not real common.
Capt kaos acting his age. Man i remember when motox mag came out with this i was so pissd because we never had a bad ass mini 2stroker toboot when we were 10.
To start on we had qa50 and xr75
We had the cr80 red rocket in uk Kap but still nice little example. I wonder if the engine was red originally has the cr80 red rocket had red engine & exhaust system
You've got to do a video about the Yamaha fs1e and the Honda c90 ,and the best ever 2 stroke yammy rd 500
I've always felt the smaller the displacement on these 2 strokes the harder the power band hit ....
@KAPLAN AMERICA
Errr.. guys, anyone done any homework??
One sold at auction in Japan in Dec 2018 for 1,876,868.70 YEN!! ($17,900 USD) to Japan Honda dealer...apparently they are rare AF as they were only made in the USA in 83/84..
They just dont make them like this anymore. Got to love a old stinkwheel 🤣🤣
So cool
does anyone know how much these cr60s are worth right now i cant find anything about these bikes i cant even find them for sale
How good was the power valve on the Yamaha dt 125
You don’t see these much been doing bikes a long time saw 2 for sale when I was about 10 on Craigslist didn’t have the money at the time but if only I knew what they were I could have talked pops into it 😂
