I've seen Nate's dad perform and Nate is not lying. Papa Bargatze (Stephen) killed it. You buy the ticket to see Nate and by the time his dad is finished performing, you feel like you've already gotten your money's worth.

Big Nate fan. I love how he always talks up his father- how much the audience loves him. Very respectful and loving son.
Saw Nate in Reno and yes, his dad killed it. Also, at the end of his dad's set, when he had finished his act, he says, "Thank you for loving my son." So yeah, he totally got a standing-O for that too. Nate then killed it as well. Hoping he can start coming to Reno every year.
Yep!! I was at this show in reno as well. When his dad said “thank you for loving my son” it instantly made me tear up. If only he knew how much he loved his son and how his son can turn a bad day into a good one for me with just a few words

I have been a Nate Bargatze fan for maybe a decade now and it’s really nice to see him getting so popular. I also love that he shares that with his dad.
ive seen Nate and his dad in concert and his dad was very very funny. His dad talks to the audience after his set and he is very genuine and heart felt.

Got to see Stephen and Nate Friday night in South Bend! They both killed! Stephen's set was so good, and he was just a joy to watch. He seems like such a sweet guy.

One of the great things about Kevin's channel is he sometimes introduces people I've never heard of. Nate Bargatze is one of those people. I have to admit, he didn't seem that funny to me during the interview. He seemed kinda serious and didn't really joke much. I then looked up some of his standup on CZcams and he's hilarious!! Thanks Kevin!

Hey Kevin, love what you do. Makes me smile. I’ve got a question or two to ask about interviewing while hiking. We are starting a community outreach project called Meet me on the Mountain and part of that will be a talk I do with different people going up a mountain. I want to make something good and just wanted a few pointers if you had them on making quality video and audio like you do while you hike. Thank you. Joey.

Kevin, I propose that for all subsequent hikes, you have whatever musicians you'll need for the video following you around. They would play at the beginning and end of the hike as well as whenever the mood struck them in the interim. I also think it would be great if you didn't ever acknowledge their presence on camera.
I like Nate's comedy style. He's laid back and has a clean routine. It is very nice Kevin went out to Nashville because I believe it's Nate's hometown. So Nate did delivery stuff but I don't think it was on trails in a park. 😁but still the same principles apply.

I have a random Pandora comedy play list.... I get the Nate jokes occasionally and it's so good compared to the more mainstream comics. It's him, Norm MacDonald and Bill Burr that chuckle my guts.
