  • The 12a rating comes from the infamous pitch 21 and can be easily aided. The rest is easy endurance work. I took a big whip near the lunch ledge which I unfortunately didn't record. I guess I wasn't the first one because I found some gear in a spot only visible from where I was hanging.
We did the whole thing in 12 pitches linking everything.

I'm curious why you expanded the alpine draws on this sport route?

Good catch. This route was far from a straight shot up. We also linked pitches which always makes rope drag a bigger issue. They are by no means a necessity on a route like this but made the journey much more comfortable.

@jannikehret oh I see so there helpful if the route sways. I saw your epinephrine vid, what would you rate the climb out of 5, any tips?

@@RatedRTV yes exactly. And big multi pitch routes usually do. 5/5 for epinephrine! The chimney pitch is the crux on that one. I would recommend bringing some extra big pieces since that section is hard to protect. The rest of the route is comparatively easy. Also, study the walk off. Very easy to get lost even with all the info on mountain project / guide book.
