This stuff is extraordinary. It's both familiar and mysterious at the same time. Masterfully blended and better than the original in my opinion. One of the best cooler weather fragrances I've smelled in years.

I love it if a fragrance combines elegance with a relaxing vibe. Gris Charnel Extrait is doing exactly this. Great fragrance!
Honestly I tried wearing this to work and though the projection may not be as strong as I was hoping for, many of my colleagues complimented me that day. They said its a very nice and calming scent. They know me as the Nose in the office and they keep asking me to bring my fragrances to work cause I also enjoy sharing superb brands with them. But I'm surprised that my colleagues ENCOURAGE me to wear this more often. Its a fascinating wear and I'm absolutely loving it.
I love Gris Charnel Extrait. It's so lovely, soft, round, and beautiful. Amazing product.

Great review, explained so well. I preferred the Original to Extrait, seems to project more. BDK Pas ce Soir is also beautiful leans more feminine.
I’m currently struggling with Pas Ce Soir 😢 the syrupy sweetness of the opening is bothering me, nonetheless I love the creamy florals in the dry down. I’m wondering 👉🏼👈🏼 have you try the extrait?

My sister wears Gris Charnel Extrait as her signature. For some reason, the scent reminds me of a dark purple satin fabric.

Honestly this is one of my most projecting fragrances so its interesting you marked it down for that. I only wear this on a night out because its so strong the sillage is crazy, people can detect it standing 10+ metres away. Just my experience though.
Extrait has that extra something special to me. Love the scent.

I’ve heard that the extrait is much more masculine and as a man I actually ended up going with the EDP because I wanted something a little more down the middle unisex. Not everything in my collection has to be super masculine but I’ll definitely try out the extrait when my EDP runs out.

Just ordered myself a sample of it because I love your description ....I smelled it once but before that I smelled loads so went nose blind . I love Pardon by Nasomatto bought it after your review and I got a great discount bc I previously bought in that shop online in NZ . I just live yout taste in perfumery ....I wish you could ship to Russia atm...i would like to order the discovery set the one you sent to the other perfume channels here on CZcams .

I definitely don’t think it lives up to the hype. I got to try it yesterday and after a nice initial opening it just drives down to smell like jazz club which is half the price and actually nicer.
The opening is amazing. I kind of wish the dry down retained more of the opening. Just means I have to keep spraying😅

Has anybody smelled the Fragrance World clone of this? It's called Francique 63.55. If so, is it any good?
I wish, my nose enjoyed ISO e Super, but the stuff smells horrible. The original Gris Charnel is one of the best sandalwoods though. Tolerable and I'm not sickened by it, which says a lot. Iso e Super ruins it for me, but at least I can smell the other notes. They're not drowned in it. Great house, I wear others from them.

I start with Gris Charnel for day and reapply the extrait for the evening. I have not tried to layer at same time. I wonder if that would help projection and take the fragrance into a 10/10 ATH rating.
I love this stuff. I think it smells smooth and almost buttery, what with the Iris and the Sandalwood. £220 is a big price tag though. Aren't BDK related to Initio and Parfum De Marly?

I have just purchased this from BDK. While the fragrance is nice, it doesn’t last on my skin and I could barely smell it after spraying it 5 times let alone 30 min later. Definitely do not blind buy. I like Aaron though 👍

I do not know why peoplr say this lasts long or projects.. I put this on my skin and it is barely noticable. My girlfriend could not smell much neither. Terrible performance!
