I'm enjoying these tutorials. I've been taking tutorials from a few different channels. I definitely appreciate having different designers offering up these quick tutorials that simply show us concepts, and then turn us loose to be creative with our new skills.
Definitely looking forward to more tutorials from you!

@ Gamergirl89, isn't that called child labour or exploitation? Shouldn't he at least be paying you some of his wages for doing his job? Next he'll be wanting sexual favours! (Trust me ;-).
"Good morning class. It's lovely to see you all here again. Especially (insert your real name here unless you have really weird parents!)".
A little while later once everyone else is busy pretend sword fighting each other with blunt chisels and screwdrivers and seeing how tightly they can G clamp their nipples, "I say, that's a very nice deep plunge blouse you have on young lady. Be careful you don't get any shavings down there or I'll have to put my hands in and scoop them out for you! Speaking of shavings, look at all that dust down the back of the CNC bed. Be a darling and bend over and sweep them out for me?"
Oh, sorry, your teacher is female!!
In that case.... wow, it's getting hot in here.... I need to open a window!
OMG, you're actually male pretending to be female as a research project!
In that case.... you have bigger issues than I do!

The way I learned was to find a real project to do. Something simple to moderate that you can design. Having a project to do forces you to learn on your own. Personally, I pick the most difficult challenges and break them down to simpler tasks but it depends on how you like to learn.

Oh man... at 6:30 you have to keep going back to the rotate button to move the part around before you select each corner for the fillet? I wonder why they do it like that. Seems like Rhinoceros is a little more efficient at most things. Either way, totally wanna learn SW.

I'm a self taught engineer running and working in my own machine shop. I'd like to move into CAD/CAM to take my business forward but so far I can't afford to just buy something like SOLIDWORKS on the off chance that I might be able to use it in real life. Unfory the UK's vocational education system is broken. Is there any way that I can get to practice on the software without having to pay £2000 to lean the basics?

Onshape is the older, online version o Fusion 360, no? Not really a good choice for an inventor at this point. We prefer Fusion 360, Autocad Inventor or Solidworks.

The cheapest way to get this program would be to participate in some competition like SAE Baja and asking for sponsorship form Dassault system.
And the other way is very well known and I don't really need to tell you.😎
