    Starting to notice that the smarthybrids are significantly better than the normal diesel counterparts, these videos are just addictive asf😍😍😍

    Ive been getting a driver the last few mornings home from work & hes been driving my buses like this constant! Makes a change from all the boring usual drivers haha :D Should have them uploaded soon if your interested.

    Shame 11155 at Lillyhall isnt capable of anything like this! That thing has now turned into a super eco slug that seems to break down most other days.

      The rest of the batch at Morecambe are pretty similar to be honest! The majority are super slow and sluggish and barely manage to do half arsed forced kickdowns. I was surprised to get a decent-ish video of this one!

    What an amazing showcase of forced revving, it feels good to know that these buses can be forced to rev despite their restrictive setups.
    What is this handbraking technique?

      Sliding the handbrake back gently just after the up shift so the bus can downshift and rev higher. The rev count is higher on the older enviros than the smart hybrids however

    What a great bus! Annoyingly, I tried this strategy with one of Wrexham’s Enviro400 City buses, but it doesn’t work. Throttle pumping, slamming your foot down, none of it works. Are there any ways you could recommend?

      Ermmm.. I think applying a small amount of power when setting off until it changes gear is a good idea. Once it's changed gear, immediately slam on the pedal at least 2 or 3 times

      One thing I have seen is the handbrake trick doesn’t work on the non smart hybrid MMCs too well. However the foot slamming and throttle pumping I’m sure is all about good timing
