Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Vs. Sonic.EXE was a mod owned and directed by Saster and CommandoDev. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE series, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R, Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic.
X, better known as Sonic.exe (sometimes stylized as Sonic.EXE), is the titular main antagonist of the infamous Creepypasta of the same name and its sequel Round 2.

Lore: Despite all his attempts to best them, Boyfriend and Girlfriend prevailed over Xeno's challenges. Enraged to a degree he'd never felt before, the demonic hedgehog evolved to a new state even powerful than Hyper Sonic- Prime Xeno. In this new state, Xeno gave the fearless duo one final round if they wanted to return home again. Along the way, he also gave out more obstacles for Boyfriend, like a twisted being baring some resemblance to Lord X, equally messed up versions of the SOUL trio, the corpse of the Girlfriend, and husks of previous opponents. Yet Boyfriend remained defiant to the end, in spite of it all. Can the rapper prevail over the EXE once again? Or has the infamous creepypasta finally able to win once and for all over his longest lasting and most impressive victim?

Act 2 was eh but ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Exe’s design in phase! I don’t even think that’s Xeno but some alternate version of him that actually IS strong. Better then the first, only thing is that I feel like his design should’ve been based on a sonic game design like how Ultra M is based on Odyssey.

I hope so much that someone makes this into a playable mod this feels way stronger of an ending than even final escape. It feels like the bad ending to the mod were the good one would be final escape.

Hey Nominal, this song is really good, but I think it's hard to say it's an improvement. In the song I feel like each character lost a bit of their spectacle. I thought the original was great because the spectacle and the way you lead into each character was more memorable. Lastly I feel the nuance of having the different BFs sing with eachother is important to this songs identity. Only thing i could recommend is have each character get a separate motif thats recognizable. I Love your music Nominal ❤✌️

I think this is probably the best All Stars cover/remix mainly because IT ACTUALLY CHANGES THE BF AND GF VOCALS. Also has unique act 3 lyrics. Though I would have called this remix Chronicles.

Prime X's (or Xeno's) vocals are absolutely tremendous and honestly somewhat beautiful. I love the inclusion of Lord X into this song unlike the... final escape Xeno off-brand from the last one (although it wasn't bad), and good job on not messing up Lord X's vocal effects like a lot of other creators like to do.
I love the lyrics part for Xeno because they are unique, and even more unique because Xeno switches back to his usual FNF vocals after some lyrics, then goes back to the lyrics. Anyhow, the lyrics are unique, but it would've been nice if Xeno was slightly louder, but it's fine. (What would've been cooler is if you could've included the little synth effect in Xeno's lyrical voice that he usually has in his final phase).
The last parts are delicious, and I love the little lyrical inclusion to BF's solo, and the part after that is my favorite. Honestly W remix.
Oh yeah, Prime X's design is straight up goated. Buddy looks like a straight menace, he looks like he either absorbed the phantom ruby and or absorbed some of the other Exe's (or maybe he just has this form on stand-by), likewise, it looks amazing. I especially love the apoclyptic city background for the first act, makes him seem like some sort of doomsday God.
