I am so related to your story. I didn’t know what they were then, but looking back now, the guys that came into life were narcissist, including my dad, who was just buried on December 30, 2023. I’m now 54. There was only one guy that I didn’t know how to love in my brokenness, he came walking up to me at my dad‘s funeral. We dated had 28 years ago! He remained close to my family all these years. We are friends today. We have exchanged so many stories, some similar in contexts. But I’m afraid to go any further. Any advice?
My mom was the same thing, everybody respected, feared and loved her, everybody is in check when she is around, i see my grandkids now sleeps in church, we could not try that, we had to be upright, but I'm glad she instilled all that in me, because I'm a better woman today because of her, her favorite line to me and my sister was I'm raising Godly young ladies not hulligans.

I was married and was vet submissive to my ex husband that i followed his words because i believed that a husband is the leader,but he tried to lead me to evil by telling me to join lesbian simply because I told him to keep to his promises of not leaving me alone for too long without coming home. I am having the problems of disrespect from my adults children for years, my extended family, and now my husband disrespect me when I ask him why he is so quiet when he comes home from work, but when he gets to work, he texted me how much is love me, I’m his Queen, he tells me I work so hard for him and the family, he gets upset when I ask him why he so quiet and don’t talk to me, when he comes home from work he turns on the tv and watches it all day until bed time, he goes to bed and still do not talk to me, and this has been going on for years and getting worse now, because I guess I put up with it for years after his affair happened years ago, he never been the same, yes he try to buy me material things lots of it, but I told him I do not need anymore clothes, I wanted his attention, time, and communication. Now, all family have turned against me, I gave my career up to take care my husband and family members. Also, I continue to give God’s word daily for years, I have given so much money I didn’t have even borrow money, clothes, you name it I have given, now thing getting worse and disrespect getting worse as well! So, I want to know what are all of this about and why is it happening to me, when all I do is pray, forgive, sow seeds, give mercy, grace, and pray for many when they ask me to or they are going through, and this has been happening to me most of my life and I feel like something wrong with me for letting them use me. I am learning so much on your topics. All women listen to this and you will thank me later. I am so thankful for God putting this in your spirit. My husband started to disrespect me, so I started to do the same to get even. I realized and learned so much.
I am having the problems of disrespect from my adults children for years, my extended family, and now my husband disrespect me when I ask him why he is so quiet when he comes home from work, but when he gets to work, he texted me how much is love me, I’m his Queen, he tells me I work so hard for him and the family, he gets upset when I ask him why he so quiet and don’t talk to me, when he comes home from work he turns on the tv and watches it all day until bed time, he goes to bed and still do not talk to me, and this has been going on for years and getting worse now, because I guess I put up with it for years after his affair happened years ago, he never been the same, yes he try to buy me material things lots of it, but I told him I do not need anymore clothes, I wanted his attention, time, and communication. Now, all family have turned against me, I gave my career up to take care my husband and family members. Also, I continue to give God’s word daily for years, I have given so much money I didn’t have even borrow money, clothes, you name it I have given, now thing getting worse and disrespect getting worse as well! So, I want to know what are all of this about and why is it happening to me, when all I do is pray, forgive, sow seeds, give mercy, grace, and pray for many when they ask me to or they are going through, and this has been happening to me most of my life and I feel like something wrong with me for letting them use me. I don’t know what’s going on but I am at the end of my role and in my married as well! Although, I will not move and do nothing until I hear from The from The HolySpirit and His directions! Dear it shall be well just keep affirming to yourself I love myself and God the most so God heal me internally and that should be your priority every early morning meditating at least 30min to the greatest results you can take cold shower before doing that.
Just focus on treating yourself better, don’t need external validation to feel loved,my dear happy yourself because no one will happy you.

At this point I am over it... have no desire to marry at this time... I only need to care for these boys I have in my care... with the help of noble men who will assist in guiding them correctly. My male cousins and uncle and platonic friends who are not predatory men. Some so called Godly men have been abusive and unrighteous in their intent as well. Simply preying on me because I have a home ... it is so gross to me how some men move. I see their eye light up when they see where I live. It is so evil to be covetous ... I really am happy single right now.
My dear there are some men out there that are Godly and I understand stand because most men look at physical and get stuck not seeing the spiritual part so keep an open mind and know that when the right one comes your in sink.
