I miss my s9 plus with the led light notification and when I look at screen it stayed on
I've been using Recent NOtification on my Galaxy Note 9 for keeping track of notifs and am just glad to see the feature baked into One UI on newer devices.

Can the energy light Ring around the front camera also be used as a Status light?
Something to note, Task Changer does not play well with third party launchers because its now integrated with the Samsung Launcher.
Used Good Lock for a while. The latest One UI Home Update has significantly reduced the responsiveness if the Home Screen swipe for recents in custom launchers though 😏 Good thing I can set a lower central app to do the same thing 😀😄

My favourite feature on Good lock Home up is increasing the 'Favourite Max count' to 9

@Android Police - Thanks for the tips, however the 'Energy ring' app has some serious functionality issues, worrying reading in it's reviews, the developer saying something about "unavoidable bugs" existing in the app. 🤨 Keep up the great videos AP. 👍🏻

It's so miniscule that you won't notice a difference

I wonder if its worth the price. I still have s8plus and its working perfectly downsize is the battery but so far everything works.
It's totally worth it, I went from an s8 to this recently..it's day and night. If your w Verizon they'll give you $800 for your s8 towards a 21 ultra.

Yes I have the Samsung s8 too (not plus)
I love it and still do apart from having occasional storage issues, and I have the screen burn in so my display is always pink and my back is now cracked as it's glass I've had it for more then 4years. Hence I've upgraded to the s21 ultra which is big and heavy but on the plus side, loving how smooth it is!

Well most of these can be used with any Android or Samsung, not just the s21

One UI 3.0 + Good Lock has gone even more down the drain than before. The recents configuration in Good Lock only works with the stock launcher. Prior to the 3.0 update, it worked with any launcher. That, coupled with having sub-par Samsung duplicates of every stock Android and Google app/feature I used, got me to trade in my S20 for a OnePlus 9 Pro. So much better.

Does Galaxy S21 have haptic feedback?
Yes but it doesn’t use the linear haptic motor that was in the Plus & Ultra models. It uses the same motor as the regular S20. Also, where the S21 has a plastic back it rattles more.
But I don't have it on my s21 ultra
Haptics are overrated imo. One of the first things I do when I get a new phone(Samsung only and always) is disable vibrations except for calls and text messages.
Samsung should put 3 usb type c.....1 for charge....1 for earphone.....1 for usb on the go.....now thats what i called SAMSUNG
Android 11 and OneUI 3.x is an HORRIBLE update to OneUI. It takes away a bunch of customisation and makes using either good phones like the S10 line or sh*t phones like the S20 and S21 lines, awful to use.
From the unusable transparent notification tray to the inability to hide that hideous screen hole, it's a major step backwards. Which is why I went back to Android 10 and won't be updating my phone.
well i mean it's more of preference. personally i like it makes me feel so advanced but if you don't like it it's cool
