  • AirSprint Private Aviation is Canada’s largest provider of fractional ownership aircraft, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.
    In addition to their base at Calgary International Airport, they also use Springbank Airport just west of the city. That occasionally leads to some short repositioning flights between the two airports.
    So, when a friend of mine who flies for AirSprint asked if I'd like to come along on one of those empty repositioning flights... Well, the answer is obvious!

    Ok, my question is...if you drove to the airport, how did you get back to your car??? Also, I've been able to sit next to the pilot on a Cape Air flight into Boston Logan...it was the Aviation Geek dream come true.

      A few years back my instructor and I discussed what we could do with that week’s record lottery jackpot. To legally fly a Citation Mustang you would need a PPL with multi-engine and type ratings. To exploit its performance you would need an instrument rating. To get insurance you would need at least a CPL.

    I have a small doubt, i am an international student who will travelling to Saskatoon via Calgary. This is the first time I'll be entering canada and I'll be having to clear immigration. Will i be doing this in Saskatoon after the connection or in Calgary itself? If i am having to do at calgary itself, how long do i have to leave inbetween the connection ?

    • @Matthew-xj2ym
      @Matthew-xj2ym Před rokem +2

      you'll clear immigration in Calgary itself and then you will catch a domestic flight to Sask. Should leave yourself 1-2hours between flights just in case anything happens or changes

    From last year, I decided I will not get into any single piloted airplane unless I get the co-pilot seat. I have no idea which pilot had the so call "vaccine" and I rather fly with a drunk pilot than one with the vax. The drunk would sober up with time, but the vexed can just keel over and someone else will have to land the plane.

  • @tonylam9548
    @tonylam9548 Před rokem

    Whoopie do, so you took a flight in a jet. I never like them and prefer to fly in turbo props instead. I leave the jets to the ignorant public. Jets are still struggling with the "sound barrier" for the last 3/4 century and I see no improvement coming for the next 1/4 century. These jets are best suited to business people with a fixed and short schedule, usually a few days maximum. I am Asian and some of my trips are crossing the Pacific , which few of these jets have the range for , airlines still reign supreme. Many of these jets have trouble even if they have to island hop across the Pacific.
