    I had a total robotic hysterectomy on 1/3. Thank you for sharing your story. It amazes me how different the experiences are. I had a 7:30am surgery and didn't get discharge until 4pm. I had to urinate, walk, and have pain and nausea under control before they'd let me leave. I didn't get any shoulder or back pain. They didn't give me compression socks. My first bowel movement was on day 3, I used miralax as well. My throat was so sore from being intubated, so I drank a lot of warm water with lemon and honey. I appreciate everyone who shares their story on CZcams and highly recommend watching how the surgery is performed. Praying for speedy healing on all the women having this procedure.

      I watched a video on how the surgery is performed after I had mine. I think it would have given me too much anxiety had I watched beforehand lol 😅. Listening and reading other women’s stories prepared me for mine. But you are correct, everyone is different and has a different experience. You just never know until you go through it. Praying yours went well. ❤️

    Desiree, thank you for sharing. I have to have a hysterectomy soon, and I'm gathering info. FYI, the squeezy things for your legs during surgery, are not because of your position during surgery. They are to keep circulation going in your legs, while you are still for a while. This helps to keep blood clots from forming in your legs. They are now put on all surgical patients.

Yesterday I felt like a million bucks 😂 So Ofcourse I over did it and now I’m in unbelievable pain again! Lol. But I’m sure tomorrow will be great again. I pray for anyone going through this!! I just had my surgery 1/23 and they removed my uterus, cervix, right ovary, right 7.4 centimeter cyst, (right tube was already gone), left tube, and my 6.4 centimeter cyst on the left ovary. I still have my left ovary. It’s been a week and I am still having pains. I just had a laparoscopic gallbladder removal in November. So I’m in twice as much pain. And my lower abdomen is the worst. My 4 incisions hurt like hell. It hurts to push when I pee. And I’m barely using the bathroom because I already was on mirlax and stool softeners. A week and 1 day in but sheeeesh and I’m 37. Thank you for sharing your story❤️. They put me on oxycotin and it was making my head hurt so they switched it to Norco. I really haven’t rested properly smh. My wife goes to work at 5am and I’m left with the kids to get them up for school. 😢

And then my abdomen hurts like crazy when I cough. Are you experiencing menstrual symptoms though? Like the sore breasts? And mood swings?

      I had mine in 5/22. The gas was intense but it never got to my shoulders was just burping a lot. I kept taking the gas medicine twice a day, that helped to get the gas out. • @DesireeNicole
      @DesireeNicole  Před 6 měsíci +3

      They have you at an angle where your reclined all the way back and your feet are higher than your head. I guess they use that position to maybe see better?? Not sure. Could also be to have the other organs shift so they are out of the way while doing the procedure. That is something I’d have to look more into.
