- This song is part of Fungisai's ongoing developmental social work concerned with the eradication of substance and drug use amongst the youths in Zimbabwe. It depicts the heartbreak mothers, parents and guardians experience at the hands of the scourge. Fungisai continues to partner young artists for the purposes of peer education and in this case she featured Elijah Nield-Geranios, a High school student who has a passion for packaging socially correct messages for his peers.

The first music show I attended was fungisai show in HICC 29 november 2003, and you sang "dududu kudzokera shure mberi waonei" and in 2004 the first cassette I ever bought was Fungisai Makomborero, and in 2013 i took a picture with fungisai at copacabana, and upto now she reamains my favourite of all time, and I named my daughter Makomborero inspired by the Makomborero album
