I have a 04 g35 sedan. I’ve been trying to find the clear side markers for the LONGEST!!! It’s easy to find if for the coupe… Do you have any ideas where I can find it for the sedan?
Can you leave links for all the parts you’re putting on. I’m looking for most of the parts and can’t find them. Probably doesn’t help I’m in Canada Thanks
This is definitely next on my g sedan did my 4th drift event and Temps where getting up there since it was a private day tons of driving and tandems had to cool the car off on occasion so cooler and temp gauge is next
Hey Joe - can you go into a little detail about the actual route you took from the sensors through the engine bay into the cabin? Did you have to extend any of the cables? And if so what were the wire gauges and the new lengths approximately? Thanks!
Hey, I love your videos. I have a 2006 g35 coupe MT. I have a oil pressure and a oil temp gauge. With one wire temp sensor. Can I splice the temp gauge into the same single wire coming from connection at engine. Thank you
Oh man there are so many factory holes you could have gone through. I'm sorry for your cancer starting hole. I had a different G35 and I left it sit one summer on gravel and I've never seen a car rust so bad. Prep and seal that well.
Why is it important to know those two numbers? I know you don’t want your oil too hot. Also what numbers are considered a safe range and what numbers should you be worried about?
@Joe Vazquez What kind of oil pressure readings are you getting. I just installed an AEM oil pressure gauge and I’m not sure if my readings are correct. What’s readings do you get at cold start? Warm idle? Wide open throttle?
Awesome work Man! Just 2 things (not hating or anything) 1) At 02:45 I noticed some oil drip, direction looks like it came from the sandwich plate. Not hating at all or anything just wanted you to check so you don't lose oil slowly (if you removed some stuff before which caused the drip all good). 2) I have a V35 Skyline but I'm 99% this next part relates to you. If you need to bring in wires in the future, there is a rubber grommet above the accelerator/brake pedal etc which you can slide a coat hanger through. You can then loop the wire you need and pull it through. Saves you drilling in the future. Again not hating or anything just wanted to mention it. 🙂 Keep up the amazing work! Repping the VQ Gang well ❤️🙌👍
IM PISSED YOU COMMENTED THIS HATERR!! Haha I’m messing with you bro! Thanks for your honest feedback! 1) I do have a leak where the sandwich plate meets with the stock oil cooler, Very slow leak so I’ll postpone that until I do an oil change to get in there! 2) I noticed it but I don’t really know why I didn’t go ahead and try it from there! Again really appreciate looking out and this can help anyone else that plans on doing this to their g35 skyline!
@@JoeVazquez Haha my phone notification just had your first sentence pop up and I was like oh oh 😅 That's good to hear you're on top of things! Can't wait for the next video drop! 🙌
@@JoeVazquez Haha the Man! Also forgot to write in my comment, where you drilled through, will you add a rubber grommet or rubber seal? It's not necessarily going to get a huge amount of water or anything, just for general moisture/debris sealing and also reduce the wires from rubbing and cutting on metal etc. 🙂
I have a quick question i have a 2009 G 37x coupe and i want to put a nismo radiator cap on the radiator but I’ve heard it could cause problems like putting extra stress on the coolant system cause it’s designed for modded vehicles i just want it for looks 😂 what do you think????? Thanks
The nismo radiator cap makes the boiling point higher, and will add more stress in the cooling system, I’ve heard a lot of people will get a crack on their radiator from the plastic parts of it from that added stress!
It’s been doing great, I check up on it frequently to make sure everything is good and I have no leaks, I have a tiny leak where the sandwich plate mates up to the factory oil cooler but nothing to worry about! Very happy with the product and the price
How much you think you have spent in after market parts/mods you have put on? Mine is stock and will be doing some videos of my build. Would love some support 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks for commenting that bro! It’s a very small leak but I will definitely be taking care of that, I believe the new seal might be pinched and readjusted or I just need to torque it down a bit more!
@@JoeVazquez I've had alot of trouble with thoughs seals in the past it's best to get have the car jacked up so you can see all the way around that oil cooler housing where the seal meats the engine and thread that housing bolt by hand until you gotten it snug by hand then torque to spec .also some good engine grease to hold the seal in place. Make sure you get an oem nissan gasket don't trust that cheap shit and It'll be leak free for years

cool vid, but both are pointless (unless FI).Oil pressure is cool but its not gonna save u, cause a red oil comes on when oil pressure is below the adequate amount. Oil temp only if u are tracking the car and that's already like under 4% of g35 drivers in the states (drift not included). These are useless and a waste to the typical g35 owner. A gauge that would be useful is a coolant temp gauge, because that directly correlates to any overheating, in fact the factory temp gauge tells you nothing until its a lil too late- it just sits at the mid way point, but by running a coolant temp gauge and knowing ur usual operating temp, u can watch ur coolant temp on a hot day and cool the car down(ie turning off ac, turning heat on high, pulling over before u blow/damage anything. But cool install vid, it makes it easy for a beginner to install.
This is a daily driver/track build 😂 I’m also installing coolant temp gauge with an upgraded radiator! I also make these mod videos for content brotha!!
Oil temp gauge is good too for when you drive your car before it's warmed up so you know when you can punch the gas after the oil sits at a normal temperature

it doesn’t look pretty but I’ve been doing this for AGES, even at a dealership level we use pinchwelds to lift cars. It literally says in the Nissan/Infiniti manual that you can lift from the pinchweld, there’s no issue trust me
I bought the car preowned and was dealership serviced with dents on it already so that rules it out, and the reason it’ll get more dented is because the jack my buddy has, doesn’t have the rubber padding on it, that’s literally it. It cosmetic, it doesn’t change anything structurally just looks bad but I don’t care 🤷♂️
Bruh, you really out here drilling holes in your chassis *facepalm*. Hope you coated those with paint or primer to prevent it from rusting. The pressure gauge is to monitor if you are prone to leaky oil like the gs are known for.
