Athena, I am so thankful for all the content you create. Seeing you go on solo adventures outdoors has inspired me to do the same this past year, and has had such a positive impact on my life overall. I'm from New Zealand and just want to say, we'd love to have you when the borders reopen 😊
I managed to cycle in New Zealand twice the first one was for 6 months in the North Island, I was very unfit for it though over 18 stone at the start and got down to 15 at the end, the second adventure was just under 4 months in the South Islands where one day it was so windy it picked both me and my bike up and deposited us both on the grass verge on the opposite side Great memories. In between these I had the crazy idea of cycling from Vancouver to Newfoundland in Canada but got to the Rockies so spent nearly 6 months cycling there right down to Yellowstone National Park where I spent over a month its a quite exceptional place I loved it?
so appreciate you talking about fear and listening to each others boundaries - i think of you as fearless so it's nice to realize its normal and ok to feel some level of fear in the wild
I always look forward to watching your videos, Athena, so when I saw you’d posted a new one today, I followed your example and made myself a real coffee before settling down to watch your latest offering. I too had plenty of questions in my mind about the modest, yet mysterious Harvey, so thank you so much to both of you for sharing your back stories but also your thoughts and ambitions for the future.
