People who expect an exact replication of a studio album really just don't get the difference between producing a sound, and the exciting variables and intricacies of a live performance - seeing your band LIVE! Oh well, I guess.
Listen to Slipknot, they sound better live.
Listen to anything live by Pink floyd. 1000x better than their studio productions

They seem to have matured drastically in thier live performance. Matt mainly. But well see how thier new tour goes at festivals and with large audiences, because thats were shit gets crazy

I have heard lots of other chucktaylor wearers and I like this band better, can't tell you exactly why, part the lyrics, I love the way they play, I love their comps, and I specially love the fact that matt is really authentic live, it is really good to watch him sing because he is having so much fun

I have always enjoyed cage the elephant's live performances. They are great, the energy they show, the way they play, i love it. And i really liked THEIR performance in this video. I'm not criticizing their live performance. i'm criticizing the person who is responsible for the audio. The guy who set the levels for broadcast, or in this case, recording. And that guy is not part of the band. And if you concept of " EDM age " is that, i am not included on that concept...

I guess were entitled to our own opinion, but god just give it a break. This is what the EDM age has brought upon us, people thinking live music is supposed to sound perfect, or exactly what the song sounds like on the album. Live performances are supposed to be imperfect and raspy. Every time you hear a band live your going to get something different, which is what makes live performances awesome. Live performances are to be heard and enjoyed in the moment, and not to be critiqued on youtube...
I thought this sounded great compared to the studio version. Usually live versions sound like shit compared to the original. They did a great job!
