Revisiting Frank Miller's Holy Terror

I discuss Frank Miller's Holy Terror, going back and forth on giving Miller kudos for taking it on, and criticism for going against the islamic enemy in a half assed way. I write this as someone who takes on not only Jihad in my comics, but Islam. As well as the islamization of the west, in my Pigman series.

Its too bad Frank walked a lot of his opinions back especially cinsidering hed never be let back in the fold. I read pigman issue one, my favorite part was when the cops said to "drop your weapon" also the intro was very exhilarating!

Frank, USE to ba a great writer..i don't Know what happened, I don't know what happened happened happened....😁oh, he cops out by writing the dialogue ten times...smh..among other things. He did the same thing with his Batman Spawn cross over "undisciplined punk" and his Batman with Jim Lee,🤯 bloody hell what was he thinking. I still love Frank's artwork, but his writing has a fracture, that was never mended you know. As far as yhis book, i have a it but i never read it, it's to much, and Frank's art was convoluted.

Big fan of your videos, and the work you do. I don't know anything about Muslims other than what I see on the news, or in Hollywood, but as an artist if I were to do a story about Muslims, I would first speak to their religious representatives to get their point of view on their own faith. When you say you've read dozens of books on Muslims, and hundreds of articles, have you also talked to Muslims? From what I understand Jihadists and Muslim extremists aren't faithful followers of the religion, but use the faith as a weapon.
EDIT: I see you reference an Islamic upbringing, so obviously you have a personal experience with the faith and its teachers.

@@punkrockjazzstudio thanks for watching, but I’ve heard this a million times. And I know i’ve mentioned it In my videos, but I was born to Muslim parents in the Bronx, and raised Muslim. I studied Islam as if my life depended on it after 9/11. I also know many Muslims, family members. And I’ve read dozens of books on Islam and jihad. I know everyone wants to turn this deadly serious issue of the Islamic threat into people, into Muslims, because they want to pretend that non-devout Muslims represent Islam, because the most devout Muslims are monsters. I’ve written articles about the issue, have published books of my cartoons with articles in them, and have done ac number of talks and debates. Along with writing and drawing my Infidel/Pigman comic book. I’ve done the work. Miller didn’t, and you haven’t. Many don’t.
