Ok, I admit I don’t know much about tig welding, but I thought you needed use filler rod? Amazing job. Love it
Wicked job
Starting at 4:45, that's not a wire welder and it's not a torch or arc welder but you appear to be brazing. Is that some type of welder you're using?
Tig
What kind of hand welder are you using? ty
Ahp alpha tig 200x
Nicely done for your first video. From watching lots of different U-Tube creators, find a style and length that suits you for your videos. I would have liked to see how you set up the rest of the nails to fill in the centers and what not. But that's me. And if it ends up being a 2 part video, that's fine as well. One guy I watch has 25-35 minute videos. Another guy usually ends up being 60 min. Others are around 15. So don't worry about having a time limit. Just do it no matter how long it ends up being. If you feel 20 min is too long, make 2 videos out of it. The more videos you have, the better hits and views you will have too. You know where to find me if you got other questions. Find me there. lol
Shawn Andera I wanted to get video of all the nails, but my phone died.. I do have footage of placing the nails I showed being welded, but I cut it because it was really boring.
Shawn Andera thank you for the input. Feel free to message me on Facebook if you would like.
Nice work!
👍👍👏👏🤠
Any way you can share your TIG settings to fuse the horseshoes? I see you buy Tractor Supply shoes too!
Usually I used st croix shoes
@@self-madefabwerx6896 - I can't find the St. Croix anymore. So your not willing to share your TIG settings?
@@JayHutchG not alot to tell... set welder at 200 amps and control it with your foot..
What dia wire do you use?
1/16" filler. and 3/32 tungsten
@@self-madefabwerx6896thank you for the information
how much do you charge for this size cross?
one like in the video is $250 . sorry about not replying until now. I just seen the notification for it.
How many amps are you welding with and what size tungsten please? You are very Talented!
I wish you could show how you weld those nails on plz.
thank you. I i run a 3/32 tungsten and the amperage i am not 100% sure i just set it at 150 and just do a quick tack on the nail heads to weld nails together. welding the nails to the shoes i leave it at 150 focus more heat on the shoe and control it with the foot pedal.
i will try to do a video on it soon. thank you for the feed back.
