- We are showing you how to paint a giant rec-room in this custom home with our new Graco GH230 Paint Sprayer and our extension pole! We are using a massive 821 tip to coat this room with Sherwin Williams Sherscrub Eggshell paint!

I like the Hyde spray poles I have a 4' and a 12' I have master spraying outsides with them .

Looks great! Spraying makes for a pristine finish but since you are not backrolling how do you handle touchups from other trades or drywall repairs? Do you get flashing on the touchups with roller/brush?
so yes....definitely not easy!! this is the age old question and there are 2 different camps and we are starting to leave it up to the client. Most of our clients want the really sleek perfect walls, so that is mostly what we do. When we have patches on walls we can usually hide touch ups using mohair weenie roller with 2 coats. that usually gets us passed on about 90 percent of patches, for really big patches (2-3ft) on highly sighted walls usually we will just roll with super smooth low nap roller corner to corner. Put a wet/damp towel over your paint container to stop it skinning up

I use a very thin sheet of water
@@PaintBoss we managed to spray two coats of sealer on approx 600m2 using 2 guns in 3.5hrs using the GH230. It never missed a beat, just kept on pumping

Sir whats is d per day capacity of this machine? How many square feet we can spray per day, both paint and putty??
With a diaphragm pump you spend half to buy it and you get the same result

Hello there Lux, sorry for the delay. So I really like these poles. They are made by Hyde. You can usually pick up at a local sherwin, dunn Edwards, or Benjamin Moore store, depending on what part of the country your in. We like the 4ft-8 and for the really high stuff the 8-12ft...but be careful when your that long...it kills your shoulders and back, but in the end better than burnt legs, and it gives a much smoother finish on those high ceilings 👊💪🤝 thanks for the comment

You might try blacking out those a/c registers. Adds a touch of class.
20 minutes to paint walls and ceiling, not too bad! How long did it take to mask off the room?

Yes they are. Good eye. Out here the builders all start the scope of work for each job that way, and if the customer wants to change color or sheen on ceilings then it is an upgrade.

How do you clean out the pump when your going to switch paints?
If its water based you run water through it and flush it out
