- The Colorado Avalanche got right back on track in Game 2, heading back to Denver. Alexandar Georgiev had huge games to help the Avs win 5-2.

I was one of the most vocal critics of Georgiev through the end of the regular season and especially after game 1. It was very refreshing to see him smiling after a terrific game. I hope he's found his confidence again!
The Av's played a great game last night. They'll need to keep the effort up to win the series - obviously. Hope they bring this effort to home ice. Having Girard back will be huge.
for some reason in tournys i started taking only like 10 shots maybe in warms ups and i played a hell of alot better in net kept it going from then on ,just made sure i was stretched out and loose cause i knew the shots were coming in the game lol i didnt need a 10 min warm up of shots from my guys lol

The output tonight wasn't enough if this is the blueprint going forward it'll be a short playoff run. Cycling the puck for half the PP looking for an open lane will never work. Make your success don't wait for it to present itself to you.
Open a lane up yourself with movement well timed shots. Greasy is the only goals you'll get in this series. Don't try to out finesse the AVS.

Funny that these 2 dudes are 100% the reason why avalanche lost game 1, now they are hero's after game 2.....
