Madeline Soto Timeline Details, Questions, and Potential Connections?

- Stephan Sterns will be back in court on April 29th, 2024. Last week, the police charged Stephan Sterns with the first-degree murder of Madeline Soto, and at a press conference said that Maddie's mother has not been cleared yet; the investigation continues.
Case Background: Madeline Soto was last seen on February 26th, 2024. Her body was found five days later in a wooded area less than an hour from home and her mother's boyfriend was arrested. Stephan Sterns's phone revealed disgusting evidence of what he has been doing to Madeline since she was at least 8 years old.

I agree. I saw a short video with Jen at a party with this creep all dressed up. She was also moving her lips like she scored a “man”. Plus she states he was her partner during the video questioning. Totally repeating his movements with Maddie that morning as fact. Distancing herself doesn’t exonerate her. Even Granny went along with this instead of offering a haven for Maddie. 😡

My 16yo cousin told her mother that her mother's live in boyfriend walked in on her taking a shower and wouldn't leave. Her mother's boyfriend said my cousin was coming on to her and he refused and so she's making up the accusation to get him out of the house. My aunt believed her boyfriend over her daughter. My aunt then told my dad about it and my dad choked my cousin until she passed out. When she came to, her mother and my father were stranding over her and my father told her to remember that because he could unalive her next time she went against her mother. Her mother (my father's sister) just stood there, not defending her own daughter. My cousin packed her bags and left that night while they were sleeping. She married at 16 just to escape them. She didn't tell me until she was in her 30's and I was in my 40's or I would have taken her in. I'm telling this only to show that some mothers will side with their boyfriend over their own children, even if it comes to their children losing their lives.

I’d rather believe my child and that be the lie than to believe my boyfriend and that be the lie. I seriously doubt there are a ton of children lying to their parents about this kind of thing.

I do not think she ever said or wrote anything about living in the woods,I believe he wrote this to through the police off thinking she ran away,she was to afraid to sleep alone, and she is going to go to the dark woods alone,and try to survive alone,I do not think so.

It is refreshing to not hear these reporters being "shocked" by the news they are reporting.
The mere fact that neighborhood adults are shocked by the fact that other adults can be capable of child sexual abuse is simply idiotic and dangerous for their own children's safety.
I want people to be careful about talking so negatively about getting mental health care whether institution or clinics. Doctors often treat symptoms not the disease. A large chunk of the world has mental illness and I want to make sure they are not shamed for seeking help. I do want justice for Madeline.
It's very hard to get competent mental health care. The people who can least afford it sometimes need it the most.
The thing that really bothers me about this case is Jenn Soto comforting that monster on TV while Maddie is missing! A. She is either lying and covering for him or B. She's involved 😡🥵😡
I don't know how a mother could smile with her daughter missing. She didn't show any sadness. I saw only nervousness.

Happened as the videos seemed to be so important to him (of her abuse) that he didn’t try to delete them from the cloud. We all know nothing is ever 100% gone but LE seemed to fine the evidence quickly even tho he factory reset his phone.
If he had filmed that it wouldn’t have taken police that long to charge him with murder though.

I think he told her to say she saw Maddie getting ready at 8am so cops wouldn’t waste time focusing on him and focus on finding who had Maddie. But we know his true motives for telling her to say that. I wish she had just stayed at her grandmothers house 😢

Madeline has "that look" in her eyes that I’ve seen time and time again in children of SA.
What I don’t understand is why Maddie lived with a mother who had mental health issues and was in and out of mental health hospitals. Why didn’t this poor child live with someone who was capable of taking care of her? Where was bio dad? Where was grandma? Where was grandpa?

I think Stephan did get a flat tire. He saw the open gate and pulled in behind the bamboo. He knew he he could not be caught with the body in his car so he had to put her out behind the bamboo. He needed a hard flat surface to change the tire so he drove across the street from Madeline's body and changed the tire. I think he was going to take her to where there are thick woods a little further up the road. But the flat forced him to leave her there in the field . Sometimes farmers loose tools from the back of their trucks. So it's not uncommon to get a flat where there are farms and fields. I think he told the police he did a factory reset on his phone thinking they would not take his phone. It is very suspicious that Jennifer knew Madeline didn't call or text anyone on her phone after the party. Then if you listen to her sister making the 911 call ,not her and she doesn't sound upset. Then when police are on their way she and her mom go to the school to look again for Madeline. I think she knew exactly what happened. That's why she told un truth to police. That's why she can't be still in the interview. That's why she had to go to the mental hospital for a while. She is scared to death she will be caught. Ever since Stephan was taken off I bet she is a real MESS. It's a crime to tell police un truth. But her mom might pay her way out. She cost a lot of people a lot of time and money searching for Madeline when knew damn well what happened. There was a YT video of a man saying Madeline was hit in the head many times with a bat or a rock. This was an especially violent crime. This poor child could never just be a little girl. He took her innocents and her life. In Florida he has earned 2 times the right to the death penalty. Plus all the other crimes against Madeline. Her mother needs to have her share of punishment too for the crime .
I believe it had just started dawning on Madeline's mom, either just before, or during the interview. I don't think she knew what was going on before. Or maybe she had had suspicions. Let's don't make someone a villain before we know whether she is or not.
@@marshapieroni6677 I agree, I had the impression Jen loved her daughter. Hopefully all will be revealed during trial or sentencing. I'm waiting until there's evidence that she knew or did something. People are too quick to grab the pitchforks in these cases.
Guys like Stephan know their prey. He looked for the exact person who would be gullible, insecure and with many mental issues.
These pathetic desperate women need to stop putting themselves first and inviting these predators into their home. No exceptions. Ever. STOP THIS. I don’t get how some women think their love live trumps their child’s wellbeing.
@@NancyDrew1Agree completely! Jenn obviously wasn’t paying any type of good attention to Maddie, even the fact that Jenn couldn’t make sure her 13 year old daughter knew her own address shows lack of involvement, she was probably more wrapped up in her self and her mental illness.
Completely failing to keep Maddie safe in any way … ending in death from lack of care. Full on failure as a “mother”. Hopefully she doesn’t have anymore children in the future.

Grandmother said he wasn't living with Jen anymore, so why was he at the party to begin with? There must gave been a reason he moved out, a strong disagreement? Did Jen say he could go to the party? To many questions.
Mom had Stephan Stearns take her to the party unless that was another story. This whole timeline has been all over the place.
The grandmother said she didn’t know why he was there. Maybe to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn’t say anything.
I think that grandma should have insisted that Maddie stay with her after the party, and never should have allowed Maddie to leave with this predator! Or she should have taken Maddie home herself. Maddie should never have been alone with this nasty pedifile.
Stephen was at the bday party and took her home. Jenn's mom was not pleased that he was at the party! I think he was afraid that if he did not go to the party Maddie might tell someone something because I think she was at that point😪
He should have never been allowed to take her home after the party, NEVER!

My mom was SA, and married my "father" who abused me for 8 years. From ages 4-12.
My mom told me to get out, go away when I told her at age 12.
That was 51 years ago. She stayed married to this animal for 56 years until he died.

How old was Cox when he left Amityville
LE said at the beginning of this case that Stearns moved her body in the early morning hours of Feb 26. Maybe Stearns was returning to the condo after he picked her body back up??? Why risk being caught with Maddy's deceased body in his car though? He already had to drive around with her when sadly he dumped her later in the afternoon. This case is so incredibly sad! 😢

Mother with little reaction and stating negative behavior of Maddie
No urgency expressed by Mother or Grandmother to find Maddie(acting like everything has been done)
Statement by Grandmother stating Maddie was anxious child that couldn't sleep alone
( I would be terrified if my anxious or fearful child was out alone in the dark!)
If Grandmother knew these things why wouldn't she have kept Maddie at her home that night( it was closer to her school)
Maddie's mother seemed more concerned about bf than missing Maddie
Huge flags related to Mother's story of seeing her last ( no tears)
I would lose it thinking of last time i saw my child😢

She didn't seem medicated or out of it to me! She seemed quite alert and very nervous about being caught! Her words were never slurred or incoherent, but yes, very inconsistent and contradictatory! Her story has more holes than Swiss cheese! SMH!

We don’t have the whole content around that text so hard to determine. If it was something in context of joking around with friends, I think the mom only mentioned to dispel rumors that Maddie ran away. In other words…don’t take that common serious because she is not the type of child to run away. That’s just my take on that.
