    Do you need to apply undercoat or primer to an already painted wall??

    I just use 100 grit to 120 grit fine sandpaper or 60 if it's really rough such as a lump of filler then switch to fine finish sandpaper then using a damp cloth wipe all areas of walls especially where you have sanded so it will remove dust dirt better to paint onto a clean surface than dirty

    I've stripped textured wallpaper to reveal a heavily pitted stone-like surface. What are the necessary steps to take before painting? Should I plaster it first?

      Have you found out what to do yet?? Need help

      @@Mia-zt1jn We ended up applying a skim coat before painting. It's like plaster. You'll need to prime the wall with a PVA primer before applying the skim coat and then prime again before painting. This will give you a smooth surface which will accept the paint well

    What is the cleaning spray used?

    • @bandq
      @bandq  Před rokem

      Hi, the sugar soap is used to prepare your walls for painting. This will remove any dust, grease, crayon or sticky hand prints, which will help give you a professional finish. I hope this helps 😊

    Is primer as same as PVA?

    • @bandq
