LMAO @14:56 sis! "it's giving LOCS!" 😂 but to preserve your rod sets, it's better to do a pineapple (even if you put the bonnet only on the top portion of the hair to cover the ends of the curls) I learned the hard way too but when I do set styles like this, I always pineapple my hair or do the banding method (VERY loosely lol) with silk scunchies and it works wonders for me!

Thank you for this. Like honestly I was feeling so bad for missing days. Like between work and school I be tired lol Its a blessing and a curse to have natural kinky curly hair. Taking care of your hair really does take time. The moment I neglect it I get so sad and feel the need to just get the snipping.

Yes the breakouts are real! The moment I wake up and my bonnet/ scarf is off here comes the breakout. Once I change my pillow case or wash my hair my face clears up.

omg I love day 3 honestly. Its so loud and has massive volume!!! Love that you change the curling rods because I was just going to ask what if you want to change the size of the curls. I mean I know common sense but hey, had to ask lol

A week in my hair. Friday night: shampoo wash deep condition apply leave in and put it in flat twist or 2 or 3 french braids. wrap it in scarf repeat leave ins daily. The end. Friday night: unbraid pre-poo finger detangle shampoo wash deep condition. I cannot remember the last time I did a twist out or rod set. Nope too much effort. 2 french braids is like 5 minutes for me.
I try to wash once a week but it doesn't always happen that way. Thanks for being so transparent 😁
