Karamoja cultural festival - Cattle keepers urged to unite and maintain their culture

The Karamajong from the four countries of Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Kenya have been urged to united and work towards development instead of fighting and raiding.
The State Minister for Mineral Development Peter Lokeris says the Karamajong are one of the largest tribes in East Africa but failure to be peaceful has disorganized them.
Lokeris made the remarks while opening a week long Karimoja cultural festival being held by NAPAK district at Matany town council.
