  • When I meet the right person, everything will be all right. This way of thinking creates trouble in our dating lives and sets us up for trouble in marriage. In this message, Andy challenges us to ask ourselves Am I the person the person I'm looking for is looking for? And he previews God's list of behaviors that will lead to success in dating and marriage.

    "If I meet the right person I don't have to be good at relationship, they're going to be good at relationship because they're the right person." Very excellent teachings. This is why God always puts emphasis on putting love for Him first and then loving ourselves. When we love ourselves, we attract healthy people, and people who are running as hard as you are towards God.

    ❤ Hallelujah to Heaven. Infatuations and chemistry aren't sound grounds to pick a qualitative life-partner. Habits, interest and personality are better.

    I do have a question on patience vs. considerate. To me they seem to be two very different thoughts; as patient is not putting pressure on a relationship (ring) time- but consideriate does not mean canceling dates, and showing up very late. I do not have time on that for relationships- as it shows a lack of respect. So anyone that can help me follow this verse better would be much appreciated! Thank you. I have listened to it twice- and haven't gotten clarity on it yet.

    Chemistry = Attraction; Sexual Attraction
    We need that though...
    That's actually like the number 1 thing for most singles

      Sexual chemistry is a myth. Yes, you're attracted to different things, but that doesn't mean there's some static magical sexual chemistry.

      CheesusGaming I would think it’s the qualities of love! 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version (NIV)
      4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
      8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
