Love the outro they added to this version (and all subsequent live versions). While the original ended while trailing out to the piano -- giving it the sorrowful feel -- I like how here is that it's more certain and powerful that it won't be their last night. My only complaint is that they left out the final scream of "away from me". Other than that, this is fucking perfect

The guitar sound is so much better and rawer here... someone else who plays guitar please tell me what Ben used? Sounds like Mesa/Boogie or Marshall.

C-Ringe He used a Mesa Boogie dual rec with a Gibson Les Paul (I think!) He used a Les Paul when recording instead of his usual PRS. Also he used a Vox for cleaner or barely overdrive riffs. (Can't remember which one it was)

@Thefishman2020 no they didnt ... He goes higher on the chorus because they smooth it out while on the original its still hardcore

@possitivealternitave what? I disagree the guitar parts are better and the smooth chorus is gorgeous and the solo at the end of the song makes it 1,000,000 times better plus this is the exact way they do it live

Sometimes an attempted re-make simply doesn't measure up to the original. This is one of those cases.
