  • How to print and cut on holographic vinyl using cricut and design space.
1.) Print your desired stickers twice.
2.) Take the first sheet and cut along the inside of the black box leaving a small lip along the inside.
3.) Place your holographic vinyl on your cricut mat
4.) Peel the backing sheet off of the second sricker sheet and carefully apply it to the top of the holographic vinyl
    • Smooth slowly with a credit card to prevent air bubbles and wrinkles
    • make sure the edge of the sheet is lined up correctly with the top and left hand side of the mat.
5.) Take your border cut out from earlier and lay this over top of your sticker/vinyl.
    • use tape to secure the border
    • as before, make sure this is lined up with the top left corner of the mat.
6.) Feed into cricut as normal.
7.) Select Printable Sticker Paper Clear as your material and click the 'More' option under pressure.
8.) Hit the flashing go button.
9.) I had to repeat steps 6-8 twice in order to cut through all layers however the cardstock optipn should achieve the same result.

I just tried this trick and my stupid machine got jammed! Then I tried the matte tape trick and it still couldn't read the lines and just cut randomly. Did you tape the scan paper down super flat?

I’m guessing that I would understand what you did if I ever used a cricut before. My idea would be that white border with the black line or the extra transparent paper on the hologram paper would reflect the laser it has less and permits the cutter from cutting correctly. I’m gonna save the video any way. Thanks.
