Bach's St Matthew Passion - BWV 244 - BBC Proms 2021

Bach’s profound choral masterpiece, the St Matthew Passion, transcends eras and faiths with its exploration of courage, compassion, sacrifice and redemption. Here, it crowns the BBC Proms season in a performance by period instrument ensemble Arcangelo, directed from the harpsichord by Jonathan Cohen. They are joined by a double choir and a stellar line-up of soloists, including Lestyn Davies, Roderick Williams and rising star Stuart Jackson.

Una magnifica versión de la obra inmortal de Bach. Me la he puesto para escucharla un ratito y no he podido dejar de escucharla hasta el final. Magnífica orquesta y magníficos solistas. Gracias por compartirla.
