      Quick thing what resin did you use in that video to make the inside of the mouth for the articulate a job since resin is better than clay and what was the manufacturer that made the resin

      @@godzillapowerpufffan8142 the brand I used is called total boat. Just recently switched to it and love it. Not sure if you can get small quantities though. Lol I ordered 2gallons😂

    I am studying sculptures and stop motion, for now i am just searching what will work for me, thank you for the tutorial ❤, if i really start doing sculptures and stop motion i really want to do animals, specially dinos, i realised that a head that wont deform was a better option, now i know your chanel, thank you for the material list too❤ its really difficult to find information, but i will research more after purchasing the materials

    This is actually really helpful I've been trying to figure this out for a while too. My first attempt worked all right until some resin leaked into the areas that made it not move 😂

      Glad to help. Lol yeah if I need to do a resin coat over the pieces I would be worried about that happening to.

    Love those jaws! Especially the teeth. It looks pretty realistic. I think that head would be perfect for a chinese dragon

    great tutorial! when i look at this head with that tooth, i think about chinese malachite statues, so maybe you`ll turn it into malachite dragon. all this colours remind me a malachite idk why))

    Plannning on making a dragon for a film project I’m doing. I was originally planning to just make two heads but now if I learn to do the jaw I only have to make one!

    If you don't want to take a risk on the hinge, you could make the hinge separate first and then attach teeth?

    I love it! Been attempting to make movable jaws for a while and I'm too impatient for resin :( hot glue works just as well and feels lighter too!

      No but that would be cool. Lol also really easy to do. I'll just have to add glow in the dark pigment to the resin when I pour it. 😊

      Your welcome. 💜Yeah I wouldnt do it with soft clay like original sculpey. if your not making molds, go with something alot stronger. Lol

    Hi just to be clear, you’re putting the glass resin jaw in the oven with the clay with attached for 45? Or did you remove the clay piece and bake that? 😅thank you so much for your help

      O I'm really not sure, but I haven't done a dinosaur piece in quite a while so that could be a good way to start back up.😊

      Super sculpey would probable work but Ive never tried it. I just know it's really strong compared to other sculpey.

    IM WORKING ON SOMETHING AND I USING A REAL ALLIGATOR HEAD THE JAW IS OPEN AND AND I DONT WANT TO DO IT AND FOR A STOP MOTION FILM WHAT DO I DO IM SCARD THAT I WILL SCEEW THIS UP AND YEA IM SO SCARED

      If you didn't already do this you should try making a prototype before trying this on the actual specimen. Maybe multiple prototypes.

    That's one Angry Chinese Dragon head, maybe this one can be a dark dragon while another Chinese dragon is more calm and gentle.

      Lol yeah hes definitely going to be a darker themed dragon. 😊 a calmer looking one, like his opposite, I'll have to work on too.
