There seems to be some qc issues from some batches so Amazon having a guaranteed refund is better tbh

@@ExecutionerDan Well, actually, Aliexpress has QC as well, any sort of deviation from standard product can be returned and refunded quite easily. Even as ordinary as stick drift.
@GeorgianPranks I'm stationed in okinawa so I don't know if the aliexpress sellers would ship to me. Not all Amazon sellers do even. Most do but not all.

Those slots on either side of the usb port on the Apex controller are used to attach a phone for moble gaming. Which would require a phone attachment accessory.

Danial ZH I feel like this would be a great improvement over my series 2 elite that has 8 ms latency compared to this 1 ms. That is unreal. I actually find myself in game warzone hitting buttons twice or moving too quick for my game/controller to react. Will I notice a difference in input lag with the apex 4? How about the software for apex 4? How easy does it integrate with windows?
Hi, 7ms is mostly noticeable in games such as COD, xDefiant, but not as much in OW2, and Halo, because you have much more time and health, about the software, it was a little buggy for me, I needed to download 3 older versions and that worked fine, maybe it was just me, but you should keep that in mind too!

Hello, I have a question. You mean it's better to turn on hdr to reduce the delay speed when using DualSense Edge, right? In the last video, I thought that steady-5 felt like DualSense, so I changed it like that, but is there much difference between the default setting and stable-5? I'm playing Red DeadReception 2. It's not a detailed game like Call of Duty, but I can adjust the dead zone. I set the dead zone to -3 because the blue color of the graph curve is out of range even if I don't touch the DualSense Edge. The blue line shouldn't be out of range, right?
As a pc player, this controller is a game changer.

I bought one after having the Vader 3 pro for a bit. The Apex 4 is the best controller I have ever used. There is a problem though. My Apex 4 left stick cracked in about a month. I am not an abusive user in any way. Others speak of having the same problem. The plastic around the blue billet cracks and renders the stick unusable. Still, while it lasted, it was the best I have used.

What is the best slop scale for the sticks, in your opinion? By the way, it's a great video!!!
Thanks, I tested it for a few days and since Hall effects are more sensitive, I use a bit higher slope to match Analog sticks, in console with PS5 controller I use 0.31 for linear but here I used 0.80.

Got this controller and probably the best I've used in terms of latency. I would make this my main but I absolutely can't play on Xbox layout style and not having fast click triggers.
Yeah clicky triggers are essential for some people.
What is the custom curve you think will work best with this controller?
so far I played Xdefiant with it and I'm happy with linear (made in myself) as the default isn't linear! but need more time for custom curves, it feels very different on PC compared to PS5 (where I mainly play games)
could you help me ? I still play with my xbox 360 controller and I want to change it, I only play RPGs and action games (god of war, ghost of tsushima, final fantasy), nothing competitive, do you recommend an xbox core controller or this one ?
Hi, if you play RPG and story games mostly, choose a controller that is more compatible and comfortable to you, this delay and speed in the controller is mostly important for competitive players, and is not noticeable to many. I would go with a controller that is comfortable and worth the price and having features I need, in case of this one, I don't think if its necessary, but if you like it, it's a good one!

The 4 back buttons on apex 4 are comfortable ? Im using the paddles on edge right now
Hi, the two on the button sides are more comfortable to me, but the two in the middle depends on how tall is your finger, but overall depends on how you hold the controller, in terms of the material and pressure, it's comfortable.

I got my controller today, everything worked fine but the screen default GIF just froze and i cant change it with the software. I always get an error code and on the controller it says 2/17 uploading. need help :(
There latest firmware update through the app was buggy and made everyone’s controllers unusable. (They are working on fixing the update to work properly)[there is currently a work around if you change to a specific language the update suddenly works properly)
We'll wait for apex 5 in the future

Just got mine the other day. Missing the clicky extreme rate triggers from the dualsense i had. Wish it had a physical trigger stop not a big fan of the software one. Also not a fan of the back buttons personally.

I've tried both and the edge takes the lead 4 me. Be4 I got the edge I was a zero. 3 kd. Now I'm a 4 kd nearly. Which has took me 2 months.
Nice! I think the shape is also important, some people prefer Xbox kind of controllers, while I'm used to PS shape and analog sticks for a long time!

Hi, I just tried it with dongle, it didn't work, USB connection worked but phone didn't recognize it as controller, maybe some software is needed, but Dongle didn't work at all, keep in mind I only tested on an android 10 device with no software installed.

Hi, no I haven't tested Forza yet, have you added them to the flydigiSpaceStation and apply the settings from there?

For ps4 games on the ps5 like older games. Would edge usb mode still pull 1000hz poll rate?
Mostly no, I haven't seen that.

@@DanielZH and in that case, you’d recommend using blue tooth while playing a ps4 game even with the edge on ps5?
@@MoneyManJJ Typically PS4 games have at least over 60ms input lag in 60Hz mode, some are down to 44ms.
@@MoneyManJJ There wouldn't be a noticeable difference between DS4 BT and Edge USB when playing PS4 games.

Hi! Yes it's not Natively Supported on Xbox, But I saw some other reviews mentioning it could be used on Xbox with an adapter, I'm not sure what that was but you can search for it, it's mainly made for PC/Phones/Switch.
Maybe the Gulikit Goku adapter can be used for Xbox and PS5..@@DanielZH
Use the Magic-X adapter I just got Apex 4 and that adapter which is compatible

@@DanielZH I just have the Apex 4. I tried playing with my other analog stick controllers and my reaction time and on target sighting seem to be like moving in molasses in comparison to hall effect controllers. I also had the GameSir G7 SE, but find the Apex 4 'better' for me.

Hey for the tension is there tension level close to /similar ps4 tension? Not fan of Xbox sticks I like ps4 tenison I wouldn’t mind if the controller was had Xbox layout with ps4 stick tenison tho
You can lower or higher it to get the feeling you like, on min, it gets even less than PS4, so I think it's easy to get to that tension matching PS4 sticks.
I bought this while I wait for a ps4/ps5 Hall effect stick solution. 😭😭

@@DanielZH yeah I’ve done research and the only Hall effect ps5 controllers I found are from shady not well known sellers or they are selling them for like 300 dollars lol
@@Arctioa wow that's so much, spoilers: I'd be reviewing a new controller soon that is around $200 but is better than any PS5 controller even better than Edge with better sticks and fixed drift! in a month or two it'll be available globally and for now we're going to test it.

I own both Apex much better
Don’t buy this controller. The top left joy stick breaks so easily. My first one broke less than two weeks of usage and they sent me a replacement but that broke in 3 days. Fortunately I got my money back.
Oh, thanks for letting us know, I mostly used it for story games I play on steam and was OK so far, but I didn't play too much, maybe 30h overall so far, so I'm not sure what would happen.
@@DanielZH no problem. You’re reply makes sense. Apex 4’s a great controller with all the pros for fps games however It’s not durable enough for games like cod if you’re sweaty. If they can fix the weak joystick issue I’d give it a 9.0/10
