How to Know Your Kitten Age Watch and Compare!
Development of kittens after birth. There's a lot to look for when raising a kitten. Newborn kittens tend to grow very fast. They double their weight by the end of the first week. At around two weeks, they will finally open their eyes to the big wide world. It is extremely interesting to watch baby cats grow.
British Shorthair cats and kittens are nicknamed the teddy bear cat for their stocky build. They do not meow much, but in case of emergency their meowing could be quite loud. Little kittens like to play a lot and in this sweet video you will see funniest moments of their games.

If you like British shorthair cats and think of getting one I want to give you some advice:
1. We have a lot of energy until we are 3 years old. That is when we reach maturity
2. We like to follow you around everywhere: in the bathroom, all around the house, we stay with you in the kitchen while you cook(and not because we want your food, but because we like being near you all the time)
3. We are very curious cats. If you want to fix something around your house we will stay there right beside you until you finish
4. We live around 18 years or maybe even 20. So be prepared to get old with us
5. We like to fetch just like dogs. Just throw me a ball and I will run to get it in my mouth and return it back to you
6. We are pretty low maintenance cats, we are happy with what we have: just a clean litter box, food and fresh and clean water
7. We communicate with you a lot. We like to talk to you and give and receive attention

We also got a 6 weeks old British Shorthair 3 days ago. He adapted to new conditions very quickly, already knows where to eat and pee. But it loves sleeping with someone and gets scared when he's alone in the room. We're happy that we got him and we'll do our best for him. Cats are so cute! Thanks for the video! I own a blue scottish fold, Olivia, who completely changed my life (and I always disliked cats lol)

I have two British short hair cats and I can say THEY ARE THE CUTESTTTTTTT and those kittens are SOOOO cute!! Even when they grow up the cuteness will never change!! And I find it really fascinating that my cats when they were kittens they had blue eyes but when they grew up one of them have yellow eyes and one of them have orange!! And I find it sooo cool!! :)

Im getting an eight week old British shorthair in three weeks :)
Ideally, kittens should go to their new home around 12 weeks of age. While some kittens can go home earlier, the closer you wait until 12 weeks, the better off the kitten will be.
British blue cats thanks for the advice but im going back to school soon and we dont want to leave the little one home alone on her first week. We will be taking her to the vet as soon as we get her. Also i just asked my mum and she will actually be 10 weeks old when we get her.

So chubby, so sweet. Our blue boy Reggie was the biggest of his litter and almost got picked for the breeding program, so when the breeder decided to let him come to us we were thrilled. And a few days after he arrived home, we noticed that he could not stay still for more than 5 seconds, and wondered if that was the reason for him being ‘disqualified’. Reggie is about 5 years old now and calmed down a great deal, but he’s still rather fidgety.
Personality of a cat is very important for a breading program. All I know it is extremely hard to have perfect exterior and temperament. Happy your cat is calmed down a little bit:)) Thanks for watching!!!😍😻

I love cats but I cant stand when they die.. it is too sad to watch a cat die. Id rather dont own a cat because it is toooo depressing to see memories gone like that. 😭

@@yavi3735 Rescue cats are all domestic shorthairs which I can get for free off the street and all of them have the same personailty or are timid/shy or aggressive. Most rescue and shelter staff are quite rude. I did apply for a couple of cats in some shelters but someone else always adopted them and I hated seeing the cat I wanted just being given to someone else. Buying is much easier and there's a higher chance the kitten you want will not be sold to someone else. Besides, my mother loves british shorthairs and longhairs so we bought one. We now have a golden british shorthair and a golden british longhair and both of them are much prettier and have more personality than my cousin's moggy that they adopted from a rescue
