I like the way they structured the qualifying for this. At least there was some actual logic and reason behind who ends up competing on the show. They should continue this in future.

Lavoie got screwed by the machine and they didnt stop the clock, shoulda had 11, they stopped clock for others tho
Some of the very best in bowling today with Kyle Troop leading the pack at the Strike Derby. Great derby!
I love these strike derbies…… Very entertaining to watch but the best one was last year when Andy Anderson against Norm Duke…. I thought that was fun to watch when Duke hid all the bowling balls 😂. This year it’s Troop there it is!!!!
I think it’s amazing hat I’ve watched 4 matches and Peterson hasn’t mentioned 8 pin or Rob Stone once

I think they missed a huge opportunity to talk about ball reaction, difference in symmetric and asym, surface changes, etc. Could explain a lot to the regular guy and also probably some to league bowlers too.
There's a reason Troup has fashion. He doesn't wear shorts on TV, and when he does, always long socks. How it should be done.
Oh it's Troup who has the fashion, I'll let the Bowels-of-the-1980's know, they've been wondering where they left it.

just can't deal with the two-handed throw, I realised watching this that when trying to root for whoever, it's always the one-mit.
They should have a roll off of they tie in the finals match. That’s kind of soft to be honest

I hate how Russo bowls
I thought the whole point of bowling two handed was to not have to use your thumb. Well, that and getting more revs. I can't imagine still using your thumb when using two hands. My thumb looks like ground hamburger meat after 5 games, and I would love to not have that wear and tear.

@@chuckjedrey3550 no. I'm a 2 hander myself and think its destroying the sport. Sad to see how many kids are taking it up nowadays instead of bowling the traditional, correct way
@@TheAbele992 46 year old two hander here and I love it. I just didn’t have the reflexes to put revs on the ball in the traditional manner. I know we all have opinions and mine is that it’s good for the growth of the sport. Kids can generate more power this way and enjoy the sport which should hopefully help its growth. Just my two cents.
