Your Great Aunt Vi often went to Vegas in the 60’s/70’s/80’s with her friend for the weekend. She adored Englebert Humperdinck and took every opportunity to go see him perform. My Cousin Cheryl took her there for one of his later shows when she was much older. ☺️

Becky the footage you captured on everything was amazing. How fabulous was the garden no wonder you went 2or3 times! I coudnt get over it. That cheesecake and all the food you showed was fab too & your 'bitz'. When we travel we have a foldable very lightweight holdhall we use to bring stuff back or we use it for clothes/dirty clothing etc & use our other bags for our stuff. We use holdalls as using the roll method we find the hold more things. So enjoyed these vlogs 🍁

I think her interest in visiting shops and markets comes from us as whenever we went on holiday we always went to see what was for sale! Tells you so much about the culture and you meet so many interesting people too!

Interesting for me…I’ve been to Vegas twice and I think we mostly focused on the shows (VERY expensive) and of course the slots. Very interested in checking out the red rock tour and Area 15.
My niece got married in Vegas her reception was at the Belaggio hotel it was spectacular we got to go in behind the fountains. The food was divine great memories…we stayed at the Golden Nugget on Fremont Street.
wow so interesting becky, we used to got to USA with an empty suitcase as things so much cheaper but its as expensive as the uk now , did you find that ? do agree with you , it would of been more expensive to post , Food looked amazing !! love a Walmart shop !
I always travel with pretty empty suitcases to the US and back with full ones. I love Nacho platters. When I lived in Oregon we used to have them all the time.
So funny to see you buying American snacks to take back. I'm a Brit living in the US and pay a fortune to buy imported British snacks. Glad to see you both enjoying Vegas.
Came to say almost the same thing. Not a Brit, but a US girl and every time we go to UK the literal first thing we do is hit up M&S and buy all our favorite treats to bring back home (Jammy Dogers, Hob Knobs, those really good donut/croissant things from M&S -OMG! So good!-Walkers Crisps-and allllll the amazing chocolate like Quality Street and Cadburry!) and our 2nd stop is Poundland (we lose our minds in there…WAY better stuff than our Dollar Stores here), and our first food stop is GREGG’s! We legit dream about sausage rolls and the “Pink Cake” for months after a visit! And don’t get me started on the regular shopping! We literally have to buy 1-2 extra LARGE suitcases every trip (we go to TK Maxx over there to buy a suitcase) because the clothes shopping is so crazy great over there! Primark is completely different there as is your H&Ms and all the incredible vendors at the markets and your charity shops! So funny what you take for granted in your home country, eh? We avoid Walmart like the plague, until we are absolutely out of everything and then suck it up and go but it’s always a nightmare, lol! (Although when we go to Mexico for vacation, Walmart is our first stop there because we love all their different foods/snacks/clothes).😂 Glad you’re having such a great trip though! We’re counting down our days til we’re on our big trip to London (end of November/early December) and already have lists upon lists of stuff to bring back!
Just back from a week in LA , Brought back, Ranch dressing✔️ Ghiradelli Chocolate✔️ White cheddar popcorn✔️. I love American supper markets , so much to choose from!❤️

I can imagine you needed an extra case to bring back all of the stuff you bought. Not great things, but here in America pretty low end Walmart stuff. Do understand they are something you can’t get in the UK. I’m happy you enjoyed yourselves in Las Vegas. Next trip, ask us here about some really other great places to visit. America so much more than Vegas. ❤

My cousin lives in Cucamonga CA and loves Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices which are really ‘cheap’ here but mega expensive in USA. I’d love to send her some put postage and taxes make it unaffordable.

Ok so I’m a big Disney fan and at Epcot they have those drinks and Beverly used to be the grossest one. Then they did a remodel of the whole store and out in the plum … and let me tell you that nasty bbq chip tasting soda has dethroned the Beverly… yuck both gross.. But that melon Fanta? My favorite soda ever .. they have discontinued this in Epcot, I didn’t know I could get it in Vegas .. but now that I do.. I’ll be there soon lol thank you for this! Ooh also don’t go in the summer.. trust me.. 115 degrees Fahrenheit.. all the time … it’s not great.. not great

I live 5 min from a Walmart also Winners- Home Sense. I luv Winners - it's part of Home Sense. The Walmart is small where I live but there's a big one in the North end of the city. 🇨🇦
Hiya Becky, I'm with the lady from the States. I live in Canada and every 9 months, as an ex-pat. I visit the U.K. The first thing I do, once getting off the plane is visit M.&S. Food Mart and buy goodies! And then, I keep on doing that until I return back to Canada. You can't win can you? Also, Starbucks does taste better over here, but here in Canada, we love our Tim Hortons. I believe there is one in London now.
Love these vlogs Becky. I have a favour to ask if at all possible. When you do these vlogs and mention American specific names of food, drinks or a place, would it be possible for you to add in a very quick and brief sentence about what they are pls? For example, when you were going through the snacks you'd bought you were going through them really quickly and I couldn't keep up with Googling them and listening at the same time. You mentioned pens (that I'd never heard of) and then something to put on top of a burger or something, and some other stuff. It was so quick and I just couldn't Google and keep up with the listening at the same time. Hope you don't mind. Also, that pizza at the end, was it rolls or something? It looked very thick. Walmart is Asda over here isn't it? I have to say theirs looks tons better!

Vegas is so much more than gambling! I think we may have spent $200 on slots but last time I went in 2019 I didn’t do any gambling at all!

It’s definitely more expensive but I’m part of a US goodies sale page and a bottle of ranch goes for £10 so $4 is still cheaper 😅

The Tide pens are on the go stain removers! They don’t do them here in the UK but I wish they would!
