Great practical advice. I realize now I've always made the mistake of trying to learn the whole song at once. Break it into sections, of course!!! Thanks, Tomas.

Please do teach me! I’ve been working on memorizing the solo version of Moon river for a month. And being 74 and a beginner doesn’t help. Thanks for this video.

Great tips! What do you think about using roman numerals to think about the chords of a song rather than the actual names? Would that help to remember lots of songs especially in the pop format?

Great info. I need to do the recording bit ;-) And no mention of a metronome! My process also includes creating a one page song sheet. I look up tab and lyrics, but the process of constructing my own page helps memorize it. And a lot of web info has errors! I use car time to do your internal playback idea and sing.

I've been using my ipad at open mic's for too long now. You can't engage with the crowd when your fixating on a screen while you play and sing. This is a really great tutorial - Many thanks and Greeting from England.!
