  • Last time out we were looking at how latency puts an upper limit on the performance of your site, and just how important it is to be hosting your content near your users. This time we go a step further: talking about the techniques and tradeoffs for highly cache-optimised sites, from content-addressable storage to federating your content across a CDN so requests don't even reach your server.
With just a few judicious build-time choices and deploy-time hooks, you too can have the fastest static site the web can offer.
The first part of this series on Latency is available on CZcams as well: • Front End Center - Why...

I subscribed to Frontend Center a while ago, but I end up the subscription. Today, I needed information that I knew was here in this video. Luckly, it's completly free and the content is very, very relevant. Thanks for everything, and I hope the content you deliver, were more often. It's awesome.

Feel you should maybe have mentioned how this affects dynamic html content (Example PHP rendered user content). But from a client side rendering point of view this setup is ideal.

Great video...The pronunciation of "caching" leaves me to believe you are reading a script and not someone who actually knows the subject of web caching - which is obviously not true. You've got a subscription and a like though as the delivery is very good, and the content excellent.
