Spearfishing Ft. Lauderdale - Shore Dive

- Went for an afternoon shore dive off of Ft. Lauderdale with my new Seawolf speargun. Wanted to get used to the gun and grab some dinner. Ended up with a couple bluefish and yellow jacks.

So I was under the impression that you can’t spearfish from a shore dive. Is this wrong?
Those yellow jacks are delicious sashimi one of my favorite fish to shoot. Dive safe bro!

Interesting spear gun I almost got that same gun. I have the path of sniper roller 95 And a Andre reef roller 135 with 4 rollers instead of 2

What spot in fort Lauderdale are you diving? I’ve done commercial Boulevard reef that’s pretty nice.
Pretty sure that's an Atlantic blacktip.

Nice, was this in Fort Lauderdale ? .. I use pneumatic guns so can’t elaborate much on the one you’re using. I live in Ft Laud as well .

Did you ever find out? I didn’t think it was legal. I’m pretty sure you have to be 200 feet off shore but I can only imagine coming back with fish that I would catch a ticket. LMK

dude try n keep of the reef, it seems at 1:23 that you were rubbing on the reef as you were stalking that hog
