for wood that's already down, it should be equipped with a pick-up roller in the front, like plantation mulchers have for picking up prunings of all sizes. Because i guess that this FAE biomass harvester isn't cheap... It is well build, and strong, but not yet perfect...

How are the chips dried?
I assume they're not burned green.
I don't see this at all efficient. It doesn't cut short enough and most of the material is left in the field.
