I've had a fear of contacts, but as it turned out I can't wear them 'cause I immediately faint when they touch my eyes... So you shouldn't be afraid from contacts, just keep in mind that you might faint. It's unbelievably rare, so I don't think that you should worry.

I went to the same optician who made my glasses, I think you should try there. I've never heard that contacts make your eyesight worse, if you have worries about that you should ask your doctor. Your doctor has to help you not make your vision worse

As I said I can't wear contacts because when they touch my eyeball everything goes black then i wake up lying on the floor. So I don't wear them
