It is all pre-recorded before going to the military. Jimin finished this album last year May to be released this July. RM also released his album last month which he completed before enlisting. V released Friends earlier this year and JK released Never Let Go earlier this month.
And Jhope released an entire street dance documentary with a soundtrack album in March, Hope on the Street.

This is a pre-release for Jimin's second solo album - MUSE. All seven members created content and music for when they are in the military. It's been a constand release of solo albums, and other content. RM, J-Hope, and now JIMIN all have 2 solo albums. Jungkook, SUGA, and V have 1 album release, and JIN has one solo song release, but he's promised to release a full album. JIN was discharched on June 12, 2024, and J-Hope will be next. His discharge date is on October 17, 2024. The other five members will be discharged in June 2025. They will all come back together as BTS then.
Oh wow! Thank you! It felt like it was a long time ago since the enlistment announcement. Its nice to hear that 2 of the members will be done with their service!!! It seems like I have a lot to catchup on
