Yes it's exactly the same but I didn't stress it out like I did the stuff inside the fence. I tested mowing very high this season and ended up having trouble (mainly inside the fence) so i took it down a bit and it's still a little stressed.
Hey Ryan. Every time I see you use the Timemaster I am amazed by how good that stripes with no additional striping kit. It strips better than my Honda does with the striping kit on.
Just pick one up yesterday. I don't get as good of trips as I did with my other mower. You said this does not have a kit on it. However it looks like you have the strip kit bar on witch is probably giving some weight and those strips.
What do you think of the Husqvarna Automower or any of these other robotic mowers? Would you consider dedicating a portion of your yard to test one out? I’d be interested in your perspective.

Hey Ryan, My lawn beginning of the season was perfect and thick and now for some reason it thinned out and some spots are brown. We had plenty of rain in Maryland so didn't have to water the lawn as often. What would cause the thinning like that?
From the sounds of it you have some fungus taking over where those spots are looking thin and brown. I have used this a few times to hit some fungus problems - amzn.to/2tc4ckW
Any news on the quality of the cut with the TT? I have the same prob. Sharpened blades still same slightly frayed tips. Did you come up with a solution?
Inside the fence I'm at C on back and D on front so it's close to 3 inches. It still looks a little dried out because I shocked it a bit when I lowered it. Outside the fence at A on back and B on Front so roughly 4 inches. It looks better from above but I don't like the look up close. Too shaggy for my taste. Keeping it there until fall when I'll take it down some.
Massive +1 for the Mavic, also the Mavic is amazingly portable by comparison to the Phantom. Like, crazy-absurd portable. Drone, controller and three flight packs fit into a bag maybe the size of two water bottles, if that large. I love mine.

I don't know exactly the run time for a tank but I can basically do my backyard here and maybe some of the front before filling again. You could probably run behind it at full speed. Not practical in a yard though because of bumps and bouncing around at higher speeds.
I was experimenting this season with mowing even taller than I normally do but I had some issues in the spring with fungus because it was just too tall. So I lowered the area inside the fence and it's still a little stressed from it.
Ryan, seriously considering getting one of these for my yard. Would you give it a yay or nay overall. Grass conditions are pretty muchlike yours. Thanks!
Ryan, Do you use car wax on the deck of your mower? I heard from a friend that I should do that and I was wondering if you would recomend. I will be purchasing the Timemaster Soon. also, How does the underside of the Timemaster look after this much use?
You certainly could use wax. I don't know how long it would really last but if it's brand new I would say go for it. The deck will just get caked with grass and need to be cleaned frequently for best performance. I usually just scrape my deck but you can also spray it down with water if you would like.

why do you think that is? is the weight of the mower, or the dust shield on the back that pushes the grass blades down more than other mowers?

Mine has always striped really well just stock but it also has to do with the thickness and grass type of my lawn.

Seems like mine has been better this year. Blades sharp and rear deck one notch higher than the front
