Like other have people have been saying in the comments it also seems like you have to get the finishing blow on them to unlock.
I decided not to add the footage of fighting Kaneki because it would have made the video almost half an hour.
Like I said in the video they do not spawn every time you run through the campaign. - Hry

Arima is no joke at all ran the stage for 6hrs encountered him about 5 times killed him but his RNG Is baaaad finally got him after the torture
I managed to kill him in the first online game I played I was luck that he spawned
I actually managed to encounter him my second play through of campaign. It was lucky as hell
I know you guys are never gonna believe when I say this
I was lucky enough to get him on the first try.
My tactic for getting these is this
-unlock all kaneki styles
-play upper level cochlea as dragon kaneki
-keep playing the cochlea upper level to spawn arima
-use your special move to send his ass of the edge of the platform, there's a gap near the progression point
Edit : arima spawns in the very centre of the upper level map, where the control tower is, there's a blue progression point where it tells you to go, just on the way to that, there is a very large gap in the fence of the platforms, use this to repeatedly special move him off the edge, the fall instantly kills him, then use arima to kill centipede kaneki in lunar eclipse garage
for me i played for fun multiplayer cammaign mode and i found centipede kaneki and it's was not fun beacause i needed him in solo
Who did you have for partners
@@michaeladams8810 I had saiko, Haise and I believe Amon, it’s much more luck based than skill based so I wouldn’t worry about the partners

Got Arima by accident while fighting him on Coachella:Inner Core XD. I played Campaign missions early on so I had him when I was like rank 15 or less
So I have to speed thru it like damn okay. I try to do it tomorrow since I had to go to bed for work. Thanks
ive done it so many times and not once has kaneki spawned and its getting on my nerves

Yes you can get him while playing as ghouls
Can someone please help me with the Ken Centipede, I have beat him already once (but actually twice) but I still don't have the accomplishment. It's like it doesn't count whenever I beat him. Please tell me what to do, it'll be a big help :)
You need to land the final blow, if your teammates kill him it doesn't count

The health is crazy for this guy but his attacks on me were trash and I got him on the third try of the mission and killed him first try lol

This game is dumb for a much more serious reason I'm getting realy mad at it cause he just won't show up for me what triggers him to come out cause I get there at the exact location in like 43 seconds and I beat all the orphans with time at 1:47 seconds left realy quick and he just won't show I'm literally about to delete this game

I ran into him without any knowledge of how strong he was he wiped me about 6 times and I just got him by the skin of my teeth
Thanks cause people half my level have them and I've been trying to figure out how to get them. I have the same issue with kills not counting. I guess if the CPU gets the last hit it doesn't count because I killed centipede in an office but didn't get the kill. It was the level where you fight kanae and Shu at the end.
I was playing this solo trying to beat him and whenever he had a sliver of health left he knocked be back into the area that teleports you into the next stage
yea you have to take them far away from that spot
I’ve seen that warning death is coming 3 times and it’s always a struggle 😂 especially when it’s before the final boss for the level
I got both today, was happy af.
Man I'm seeing the comments about the torture. Meanwhile for me as much as it was hard to beat Centipede and Arima. I beat them and got them. I feel bad for those trying to get them

@@guntherlul1942 centipede and partners from Re help a lot. Kill everyone that targets him. Focus on white coats and enemies with grenades. Try to avoid being close to the elevator, so when time is up you can run to it and complete it. Save the orbs for when Mado and Amon spawn and spam your kagune and special since they tend to ignore you to kill him. Pray kakuja Furuta doesn't spawn. Lol. On hard you use the same tactics but if your custom isn't high damage I recommend centipede. I personally like owl, naki re and nishiki re as partners, but you should test out what partners fit you. Nishiki's strangle comes in handy cause they can't move, owl runs around constantly attacking and is good at melee and shooting and imo Naki is better at defense than Shu.
I have encountered centipede Kaneki 3 times , all 3 times were my first time playing this game and now he just won't pop up anymore (all of the encounters were on the aogiri tree level at low health)

I figured that if u don't land the last hit on them they don't count in the mission
Little story here: so I was on the cochlea stage with some friends and it said death has appeared, and it was arima, and it said to run...but I had already fallen down for some reason to the bottom but couldn’t do anything till my friends got there, and they actually ran! So I ended up having the chance to get arima but my friends just ran and I fell down 😢😢

I beat Kaneki Centipede twice in solo Campaign Normal, but neither times ticked the Condition as complete... Its the last one I need to unlock him
I just got centipede kaneki,but was surprised to see Eto spawn at the end,she isn't hard though so it's not a problem and I think you can also run past her to finish up the mission

She can spawn In the disposal lvl before the drop down my luck I had her then had to face arima

So, i defeated Arima in Cochlea using Ken Kaneki -Dragon- and completed the entire mission but when i went to check the accomplishments it didn't show that i defeated him. Do i need to beat him with my own character?
You have to make the Last Hit/Hits, i kill Ken too but i don't make the Last Hit thats why i dont get him
Do it on your own with bots and like other people have been saying you need to try and get the last hits to finish him

i’ve tried to get arima but the ghoul i have to transport keeps dying. any tips or maybe an easier way?
This is the fastest way I know of. There is one other Cochlea map that he can spawn at but that one is at the way end of the level.
Run multiplayer or invite friends iits sooooooooo much easier than solo
When I beat the level on hard I had Owl, Touka RE and Ayato RE as partners. Spam your heaviest attacks when he is targeted at the end and run to complete as soon as the elevator goes green. I have never beat it when Furuta spawns in his mutated form, so no tips for that but it is rare.

Arima also spawns pretty early on in the upper level of Cochlea!
When doing the mission because I’ve played that one a lot?
@@emo_kevin16 You have to get passed the section with the lasers, after you kill Suzuya he spawns in the next section of the map. Near the core. Once you reach the middle- you'll cross a bridge that will cut to a cut scene spawning several 'strong' investigators. After you pass the second mini barricade it should warn you that Death is coming. It's really the only map I've had luck in getting him.
TLDR; He spawns right before you end up having to fight Saiko. A little before the elevator.
So it seems like if my teammates get the last hit on them then it dosent count so you have to watch out for that also after getting kaneki centipede he also becomes an awakening for the default kaneki
This is probably true. I beat him once and did not unlock and have it on recording. My teammates got the last hit
I just did it solo because it does say on your own took me like 8 mins with arata juzo

It doesn't give u the option to run without teammates
Arima just does not have to do anything I have to do before
So did you simply restart every time he didn't spawn or did you finish the mission every time?
Just simply exited the mission and started over. There is a good amount of stuff to do beyond that point so it's not worth the time for me to finish.
@@hexade1631 Ok, so I FINALLY got him to spawn, with his Owl Quinque no less, and defeated him by landing the killing blow with my special attack. So I'm confused as to why this didn't unlock him as a playable character. If I could get some clarification as to what the game means by "Defeat [insert character name here] on your own" I'd be very happy.
@@kmdgaming6039 I think there's actually some other hidden requirement. Maybe you have to do a follow-up attack after you finish them? I had beaten Centipede and first and it did not work.
@@hexade1631 Got Arima after going for over 3 hours without him spawning. Now all I need is the Owl Type-0, which is going to be a nightmare to get since I have to beat Eto on Hard. If you find a way to easily do this in the future, I'd really appreciate a video explaining that (and likely so would countless others), as Eto is already difficult to kill on Normal.
@@kmdgaming6039 To be sure that Eto spawn, go on Cochlea first level, when you have to search ghouls on the last zone, Eto will spawn (2 times and she spawned everytime after I killed Yukinori Shinohara), I killed her easily with Hard difficulty, with Dragon Ken, you can also spam your stagger attack on her everytime you have it, it works
How would I find kaneki not kakuja is there a certain stage?
The first Kaneki is toward the end of the Aogiri Hideout campaign. Before you press the time sensitive switch that opens a door he should be in the area
for me when arima spawn he has naru and ixa but not owl. Son i unlocked arima with naru and ixa but can use owl too ?

On my 1st attempt on the Aogiri Tree map, I was lucky enough to get Kaneki(Centipede) to spawn. I didn't care if my score went down, I was going to kill him no matter how many times he railed my ass that mission
when I used campaign for the second time, I was using my investigator cac without any skills and faced Kaneki Centipede, but I got killed when he was super low and my teammates killed him.

Why should we use Owl to get Arima?
It's just a recommendation, and he was recommended because he's very strong and damaging in combat

Yeah it's more likely not to spawn than it will. This video wasn't done in one take and it was extremely lucky Arima spawned afterwards.
