- Pakistan is aiming to finalize a staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a bailout exceeding $6 billion this month. Junior Finance Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik stated that all IMF requirements in the annual budget have been addressed, despite domestic concerns over new taxation measures.
