- Layered Capuchin Monkey Indoor Habitat - Planet Zoo Speedbuild - Yosemite Valley
Capuchin Monkeys are quick. And they love to climb. But I only have a small space available. Hence, I wanted them to move a lot up and down. Thats what we build today. A capuchin monkey layered Dome design which, to my surprise, works absolutely fine!

In Planet Zoo you are the Zoo Manager. Create underwater Viewing Galleries, develop intricate Chimpanzee climbing frames or house a majestic Bengal Tiger. You also need to make sure your animals stay healthy, have a comfy shelter and are not too annoyed by your guests. Speaking of which, you will need restaurants and other facilities to keep them happy too.
If you succeed, you will be granted access to the most impressive animals of this planet, such as the Giant Panda, a fluffly small red panda, the scary Komodo dragon or the bulky Hippo.
You can also build several habitats, Domes, safari rides or walk-in habitats that provide the best view onto your animals.

I watch a lot of Planet Zoo builds on here but this is probably the most impressive exhibit I’ve ever seen. A lot of time and effort, and it’s paid off. It’s beautiful, well done!
Thanks !
instaBlaster
Omg please never apologize for the longer vids, they're perfect to watch while waking up with a cup of tea!
Agreed!
This is beautiful. I love the rope sleeping pods- so cute! I can't imagine the effort it took to get the capuchins to use all the climbing frames.
I love the sleeping bulbs sooo much! They’re beautifully done!
"atmospheric dome" sounds like a floating habitat XD
oh right haha
I would love to see that. You should make it 🤩
Never skip you! You’re always so informative I like to borrow tips and see the pieces you use and then try to remember them 🤣
Oh my goodness. Not really a commenter normally but this habitat is incredible. That little rope egg blew my mind.
I agree this just may be your best habitat build to date. There is no zoo on Earth that could afford to build it, but it looks damn good.
Disney Zoo. I called it. Episode 70012 of the Simpsons were foreshadowing it :O)
@@RudiRennkamel Disney is not really a zoo though, it's a theme park with animals. 😜
I totally agree with you, It is your awesome habitat!!! I love it so much, and can't wait to get time to watch your tutorial for the traversable area!
Love to see how this works 🤩 Monkeys climbing are so cute! Thanks for the tips Rudi! 🥰
This habitat is the kind that would take a lot of blueprint planning. This one could be a real habitat at an accredited zoo; well done.
Another cappuccino monkey habitat! 👏🏻 I’ve watched this video on my tv, and damn this habitat is out of this world! So awesome how the animals use all the levels of the entire habitat with all the ropes etc. This is really impressive and you can really see how much thought you’ve put in to it. And Rudi can you please upload the sleeping domes in to the workshop? I want to use them so badly!
i try to upload the blueprints as quick as I can =)
Rudi Rennkamel Ah yessssssss!! 👏🏻
What an incredible habitat! I’d love to see this in real life. You’re so talented rudi
Can you do a tour of what you did over the zoo? It would be great to see your great accomplishments overall and see the zoo as a guest
Wyatt, just check for yosemite tour on my channel =) I did one of season one. Its almost everything covered =)
This is my favorite habitat you’ve ever done!! I always watch the whole video but the tour at the end is still always the coolest to watch! You’re so talented it really inspires me to build!
Thanks? I enjoy it when you guys keep listening! That's why I make this
Rudi! I love this habitat!!! Its really nice. So much inspiration. Thx
This is amazing! I'm loving your series and learning a lot of your building techniques and which objects are good to use etc. Your commentary is super informative and easy to follow!
The best shelter I ever seen !!!! That's so cute
Love it! Wish I could explore it in real life!
I absolutely love this build! 💚 there is soo much to see and to discover :D
This exhibit is really incredible Rudi, first it fits perfectly in a tropical house and second it looks really nice.
Everything is so well built, from the ways and staircases for the staff members over the whole rock work, the nice looking waterfall, the beautiful climbing frame work till to the scenery will the plants and the baskets, also I love the staff bridges they give so much appeal for this exhibit and they are also very usefull!
I really like this built very much and it is really high in my rankings of Zoo exhibit builds in PZ.
I really look forward to the nile monitor exhibit and to the whole scenery around the exhibit which will come ^^
Thank you Rudi for this nice and funny episode, I will see you in the next one :)
PS: These monkeys are very very loud :D
Very nice habitat! I fully agree with the traversable and climbable areas! I think it´s a system that works as a general rule, but... you know, when you want to do different things, it´s a stupid method. There should be a system where the excess of one sections balances out the other one: let´s say 200 m2 of (excess) climbable area is = 75 m2 of ground traversable area. Also fully agree that it´s great to play the game just for fun, but it gets even better when you try to understand how the game "thinks and executes actions on animals". Exploiting that allows you to fully enjoy the game!
Forgot to add! I really like this compact - but navigable - habitat for the Capuccin monkeys. It fits them really well!
Really beautiful work. I like the combinations with rope and wooden planks.
thanks!
Haha, the moment you mentioned the Hump Day thing it put that commercial in my head. "Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike! Guess what day it is!"
This is such a beautiful and lively build! It really /climbed/ to the top of my favorite Planet Zoo builds.
thanks =) really awesome to hear!
@@RudiRennkamel You're very welcome! I look forward to seeing what you do next!
love the way you make the videos and show things in the end
I love the monkey builds of yours!
thanks!
This is really the most cool habitat ever.
There is so many layers in here, it's so impressive.
I love what you do and I love love love the long videos
Also love the hanging bowls/balls.
hanging balls are good.
Das ist einfach krass!! Ich wünschte ich wäre auch so kreativ. Habe heute mit einem neuen Sandbox Zoo angefangen und das ist definitiv eine große Inspiration für mich. Mach weiter so
oh man, that "sleeping ball" looks awwesome. It is something that you can see in a real zoo but I never thought of it for planet zoo
That is so cool !!! It's really beautiful!
Probs my fav habitat so far this is amazing
Thank you!
☆*applauds*☆....awesome creation!!! keep it up rudi!
Absolutely wonderful!!!
:)
This looks just so amazing! Best build. Probably ever! Looks like so much work, but I really think it was worth it! I so want to play too. You are so good 👏🥇
it was a lot of work yea haha
You really did make a lovely and cohesive atmosphere and I really love all the detail (like the adorable little cave!). I don't know if this is your best one (I haven't seen all off them, also - Kuzco ) but this is one the best I've ever seen, in general.
This build is amazing!!!!!!
Great Episode! Thanks Rudi (Binge watching :-P)
Echt wieder mal tolle Arbeit!
It looks amazing again! I love these domes!😍😍😍
Wow, best video you did so far. Not only because of the (amazing) build, but also because of the information, that was so informative. And I just love love the sleeping balls.
:-) Glad you liked it!
It is lovely that you made this enclosure special for me, I love kaputtskin monkeys! Also this might also be my favorite enclosure, it caught up and surpassed on Silvs Indian Elephant enclosure
Your schedule works perfect for me. Humpday is my busiest (superlativ of busy :D ?) day in regard of my Uni (yes even or should i say especially in times of corona :/ ). And what could be more perfect than a video from Rudi to come down at the end of a long day ;)
PS: Love the habitat!! (i shouldn't have to mention it, should i? ;-D )
This. is. the. best. tropical. habitat. ever!
:-)
really nice built, learned a lot
Love the dome bud great work ✌️😁
Fabulous work, thankyou for sharing
Your builds are always impressive but this is truly the most amazing one yet and my favorite! (Although I am a bit biased because I study primates 😂)
haha okay, thats a fair reason then :P
Love this build! Some good pro tips in them as well. When it comes to animal welfare ... yes, then i'm really struggling. On the one hand I want to create a beautiful, yet natural enclosure for the animals. On the other, there's their requirements and need. Which does not always lines up with the idea I had in mind for the build. I want to respect their environment they are living in, but sometimes I want to add a bit more plants and so on. But I hear you say: they will not use the habitat efficiëntly when welfare is turned off. Yeah that's a huge minus for me ... they need to use the habitat 100%. It's build for them. I dont' know what to do in my sandbox zoo anymore ... started with so much ideas but I get discouraged when it comes to the animal welfare requirements. I feel I cannot build something creative with those restrictions. the game offers so much possiblities, and yet so little (when you play with welfare and needs)
srry for the long post :D (Mooncat from your Discord)
have a look into my tutorial. this should really explain this =) even with welfare turned off
This looks absolutely fantastic! I love it! ❤️
=)
Legit skipped to 13:30 exactly and got caught. Guilty lmao. Seriously tho I’ll be late for work so in summary, epic video I love it so much!! Amazing build!
Hahaha
this is incredible
Hey!! Yay!!!! Rudi
that rhymes ;)
Love this, wish I could make something like this
This realy beautifull. Love it 😍😍😍
Hi rudi you should make a building like the africarium at Wroclaw zoo. Look at some pics it would suit Yosemite valley as it’s similar to the dome it has hippos and other animals inside pls build so the like it pls keep up the good work.
Rudi this is definitely your best yet. It look amazing and actually possible for a zoo. Please can you do a tutorial for staff traversible area?
will be released in 1hr LOL what a timing haha!
Rudi Rennkamel ask and you shall receive. Thank you so much it was very informative. Particularly how to get rid of the glitches.
There's a lot Frontier can learn watching the footage here. It's a great exhibit, hopefully future patches can make the climbing work a bit better.
u really makes me want to live in your zoo. if we’ll reincarnate i want to be one of your zookeeper
haha that´d be great
the best habitat, I guess
it looks so cool and beautiful
He said it, and he delivered it!
Beautiful!! So well made =D
Nice Stream yesterday!👌
Love it!
This is stunning. Good job. Your planning certainly paid off. Can you upload that Capuchin sleeping basket to the workshop?
Ok picture this, dual habitat with the orangutan and okapi or tapir, in the last part of the dome. just a suggestion love all the videos.
I love the domes and just that idea. Also in your franchise white tiger lookout video. On the lookout roof, what did you use. That piece looks awesome, and would fit in great on my zoo.
haha willkommen ;)
Aw.. I skipped to the exact part, where you talked about skipping videos, and now I feel bad!
But I do like your work a lot, and this one is really impressive with the backstage-area and the well thought layout!
This is awesome, I love this game, just wish I could own it! Amazing build!!
Chapuchin monkey is beautiful
it is!
amazing!
Yes monkeys!
So beauty
thank you Jakob
Wonderful, what an ideas wow!
this habitat is incredibly inspiring! however, i have to ask, from a realism standpoint: what would be keeping those monkeys from running through the rest of the dome, in real life? there's no gate or fence or electric wire keeping them from the pygmy hippo habitat, or even from the path - while it might be fine for them to sometimes escape into a pygmy hippo habitat, it definitely would be bad for them to escape and get into the nile monitor exhibit, since nile monitors are carnivorous. obviously in-game, the elephant grass works as hidden fencing, but i'm more looking at a realism standpoint. however, that's the only negative to this build for me - otherwise, i think this is one of your best builds to date!
that will be done when the nile monitor habitat is made ;)
Amazing x
You Made it zo Beautiful
zoo beautiful ;)
Love your Vids man! I had a story about monkey ...well an experience.
I remembered the time when a monkey jumped on top of my head and played with my hair ... It was pretty cool but kinda irritating though, the monkey was harsh on my hair 😂
yeah, but they are sooo cute!
@@RudiRennkamel I strongly agree!
How do u find it on work shop this is the most amazing build ever❤
Very inspiring :) memo to myself: have to figure out some more pathways for my zookeepers :)
yeah its quite hard
Like ❤
The hanging "bullet" 😁 your Work?
i love it
cool!
Awesome
I LIKE IT!!!🐒🍌😉👍
Versuch doch so nen weg wie für die Mitarbeiter auch für die Gäste einzubauen, dass man die Tiere aus verschiedenen Höhen sehen kann, würde bestimmt auch gut zur Atmosphäre beitragen 😅
did u use any dlc packs or is this just the standard edition?
13:37 monkey House
Rudi I bet your YT stats are a bit weird from people like me, coming back into vids to see how you built specific things. Sometimes I have to comb your videos looking for a specific thing I remember you building. Im probably not the only one skipping through parts of your vids doing this.
Iggy Khertus Jup! Me also! 🙋🏼♀️ Guilty!
Is this a blueprint? BTW nice exhibits and keep building more.😁😁
it will be uploaded soon :)
Haha, you caught me skipping!
Rudiiiiii.... i've got a Planco related question quick: Is there a possibility to use something like a guest camera in planco? You know, a kind of mode to walk only on the pathways like a guest would do? I think it would be called tagged-cam?
14:20 Can you please share those hanging rope shelters to the Workshop?
I was the 999th viewer this is so cool :)
How did you make the cocoon a hard shelter?
In a real zoo animals have a smaller building, without theming, where they are for the night, when it's too cold. It is where the vet can pick animals to take care of them. Doing it in this habitat would be very difficult 😅
Well, I plan sth like that actually =)
How do you enter TegidCam? I have been wondering.
just name a staff member or a guest "tegidcam"
Thank you!
How do you “become” the person?
name a guest or staff member "tegidcam"
Thank you 😊 very much
Where is the rope from for the cocoon?
