  • Between August and November 2022, we delivered over 1,500 Enhanced Mobile Carriageway Closures (EMCC). During this time, we experienced only 5 incursions captured by the vehicle-mounted CCTVs and mitigated by HRS Intellicone® Incursion Prevention & Warning System.
We sent the cameras out a few weeks ago to film an EMCC in action. Here’s how it looks. If you would like to find out more about our EMCC, send us an email at trafficmanagement@ChevronTM.com

Used EMCC a few times whilst installing lane closures. From personal experience it’s excellent. Reduces install times, reduces the risk of myself being struck whilst ipv-ing, reduced waiting times for rrbs from HE.

We have a similar concept, especially if need to close a lane 👍

This looks great. Where is the guidance documents for its implementation available from? Was that an errant vehicle @1.07? What is the procedure if a car passes the convoy vehicle?

The install vehicles is given a intellicone so if the vehicles passes, the EMCC driver will press the alarm button informing them of an incursion. The ipv has 2 or 3 way radio contact with either 1 or both EMCC drivers who will inform you of the incursion.
