    Wild story.
I feel like many of these casualties could have been avoided.
I don't know anything about how our militaries operate, but it feels like an awfully risky maneuver going for a meeting like this with so few soldiers.

This country appreciates your service SPC White, and to the 6 men who gave their last full measure of devotion on that day.

We appreciate your service to our country Kyle, and all you did to help your brothers on that faithful day. Remembering the soldiers that were that day and those men who payed the ultimate price.

Yes, and i see it. The talibans have filmed the ambush. It's pretty hard to see. I found it because the title pretend it was an ambush on french paratroopers from 2008 un Uzbeen but some elements don't corresponds and the uniforms we see in the video prove thatthis is this ambush one year before. We can see guys sliding down the cliff to escape from fire. really hard.

No, he was not a special forces soldier, he was serving with 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regimiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team during the action that earned him the Medal
