Hi, have you tried pairing the 606 S3 with the Marantz PM6007? Is it as good as what you speculate?

      I have the same question.

Is there any good reason not to perch my KEF ls50 speakers on a 63 cm tower of toilet rolls. 😄 🤔 What could absorb resonance or vibration better?

I have a Cambridge Audio A500 60W PC amp - through some Mordaunt Short 609 3 way floor standers - will the 607's sound as good because my wife hates the speakers I have because they get in her way!

Thanks for watching and for commenting. There is no doubt that the sound quality and detail of the B&W 607 will be an improvement over the Mourdant Short 609. However, they won't be able to get quite as low in the frequency range as a big pair of floorstanders. If this is important to you, I'd suggest the 606 S3 as they have a little bit of a deeper sound and won't be as big a jump from what you are currently used to.
If you live locally we'd be more than happy to arrange a demo at our showroom facility or at your home. Please get in touch!

Thanks for your advice I have a local place Richer Sounds and they will lay on a demo. I play a lot of 70's rock so bass is important to me. Appreciate your advice and love the show good mix!
