Gonna be interesting in the future for Yamaha with moto minarelli and fantic developing that 300 efi leccy start engine with yamaha maybe it levels the playing field or at least puts a bit of blue in a sea of orange.

Might stud up my YZs tire! But the second wheel set is a great idea! Mitas FTW too

Yes it's cool that Yamaha sells the complete. Definitely the most cost effective option I found!

What sprocket sizes do you run for those setups? Just tried an IRC JX8 for first time and love it , feels like cheat codes..so much traction.
Could you include a link to the wheel set you bought? Thank you

Hey sorry, I don't have a link. I ordered my wheels through my local shop.

Do Studs work on the street I only ride about 5 miles a week on street but still want to ride in the winter on the trails.

Not the kind of studs that you need in the trails. I've seen/heard of people running studs for street, but they are more similar to a car stud. The studs you use for dirt as sketchy as heck on asphalt hahah

@@JasonHamborg Could a compromise arise by putting the studs only on the outer knobs, so I can still have traction on the street in a straight line but on dirt if the center knobs slide out the studs will catch.
