everyone gravely misses how IMPOSSIBLE it is to grasp your bearings vertically with a free camera consistently using just audio. people don't seem to realize that games such as mhw generally only have 2 audio channel outputs, namely LEFT and RIGHT. there are no UP or DOWN audio channel. that means in game, you CANNOT identify with just audio if something is above or below you. that also means with just audio, you CANNOT identify where you are facing in the vertical axis. seeing her repeatedly adjusting her camera on the vertical axis to the neutral position, and even sometimes tracking the head vertically with only free mouse movement, is enough to identify that her runs were 100% fake. its not about how good her hearing is. its about how the game outputs audio through your headphones.
That's what baffles me the most.
It's such an obvious red flag, yet people still gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Due to eye surgery I had when I was 18, I was blind for 3 month. I can tell you, from one day to another, even if you have done things 100000000000x times with eye sight, you can'T do shit once you remove it. It takes training to do something without the sense we rely to 90% in our life one. I couldn't even move to my room without running into something. Yet alone playing a game I have played for years straight. She is a big fraud, anyone who really was blind for a certain amount of time know that and it's a disgrace to pretend you can do it blindly just because you have done it. Especially taking into account in a game you ONLY have audio then. You can't feel. You can't smell or feel. You can't see. And yet, she claims to do everything perfectly with just muscle memory and hearing. Muscle memory my ass... this is insulting. Really insulting towards the real blindfold speedrunners that train for month or year to get something done. Shame just shame.
My left eye has really awful vision, like, extremely blurry but still able to see general shapes and colors. I also have low quality tears so I sometimes have to close an eye for some time if it gets irritated. That leads to me sometimes having to just do stuff with that blurry eye for like an hour or so. Even seeing approximately like that I still need to do things differently, and I still have visual feedback to go off of.
The "I play like I always do" comment is a dead giveaway honestly cause that's just not how blindfolded runs work.
If you watch her during the game, she keeps scrunching her face, using her cheeks to keep pushing the blindfold up. The downside to the loose mask is it can easily fall down, closing the visible gap. But she keeps squinting and scrunching her face to push the mask up.

I am surprised that people aren't talking about another obvious tell. Usually when you lose control of your character in a game and then get the control back you use a form of feedback to make sure of that; for example pressing a button to see if they move. What she does to get that feedback is MOVING THE CAMERA! A purely visual tell with no audio input.

Yes if you want to check it that way you turn camera to a certain direction and wait and see if you get audio feedback (still a weird way to do it, any person genuinely doing such a run would just hit a quick attack button and see if there's an audio feedback). However the way she does it is she shakes the camera without turning it left or right very much. Check the timestamp!
For those that don't know, Bubzia is the GOAT blindfolded speedrunner. He has the world record in every blindfolded SM64 category - 0 star, 1 star, 16 star, 70 star, and, yes, 120 star, the only person to ever 100% the game blindfolded. He did some gorgeous blindfolded botw runs at GDQ too

the thing that amuses me about the "old blindfold isnt transparent" attempt is not only is there LITERAL VIDEO PROOF ITS TRANSPARENT but also in the "test" in the second stream shows the same looking material, but its also considerably narrower...like its been folded...
In the first stream it almost covered her entire face and she half-folds it up off her mouth. In the second stream its maybe slightly bigger than the palm of your hand, i.e. its been folded fully this time.

The most fascinating thing about this cheating incident is the double-down. Most video game cheaters, when caught, either sweep it under the rug or admit fault immediately. However, just like Dream, she produced an entire video to turn her viewerbase against accusations of wrongdoing and gaslight everyone.
It's such a shame that she felt the need to fake something when she could have genuinely attempted blindfolded attempts. I am sure even looking silly and running into walls would have made for great entertainment and could have received more positive attention. Now, her name will be stained forever. The double-down was a true mask-off moment for her. Some of her simps will look past it, but I don't think any reasonable person will trust her or her gaming achievements ever again.

Something that has been on my mind since the first video about this is; what about the person that helped her in her first run/stream? With how obvious she cheated the first time, it would seem like the person she had help her do some 'spot' runs is likely in on her cheating and knew it was all fake. If they are also part of the speedrun community, it may be wise to investigate their submissions/runs to any leaderboards as it's likely they are also cheating in some manner.
Mods know she cheated for sure.. if they play MH they would know instant she pulled it off, i got +/- 1.2k hours from pc and console.. i knew few min inyo the 1 video this was litterly some BS coz that perfect'ish run can be done only when you see, not blind.. you do different type of run, clunky, lots of weird camera mismatches, no Head shots like some CS Go pro player just in MH and "blind" xD

in her "set up" phase, if you look at her webcam display you can see in the lower right a green sticker on what looks like a leg. that green sticker looks exactly like an Nvidia G-Sync sticker and if that wasnt enough proof of a third monitor just the fact that her camera in sitting on top of something at about head height also leans into there being a third monitor.
At 6:00 you can see it pretty well and the little camera slowly pans to the left to hide the sticker somehow while Abyssoft says "something pulls her focus from the game".

To prove your legitimacy, all you need is a camera with a wide shot set up slightly higher up behind you facing the same way you do to show what's in front of you. The whole elaborate set-up with paper covering the monitors and the light tests with the blindfolds mean nothing and, in fact, make you look even more suspicious when you don't include the first thing.
If you look up the LG UltraGear Gaming Monitor 27GR75Q, you can see it's the third monitor she's using as the leg with the Nvidia G-Sync logo is in her keyboard cam.
That moment when she realized she read the chat even though every monitor should've been covered...

I'm definitely glad the Jellyfish (or w/e his name is) SM64 fake blindfolded run happened first. I imagine one point she'd raise to deflect would be "look at all these men coming after me because I'm a girl gamer" or something to that effect - and it's like "I present a man getting called out for the same thing a few years ago".
That didn't at all stop her or her simp army from claiming people's proof standards are so high because she has booba. Logic and reason don't apply to thots and simps.

I mentioned this elsewhere but i picked up on how she did it instantly after seeing footage of her second video.
In fact it was so obvious to me i thought it was a joke and she was coming clean in a sarcastic way until i realized that wasn't the case
The fact so few caught on was surprising to me and when i was attacked for pointing out the obvious i felt like the world had gone crazy.
On a side note ive actually done some blind stuff before and reading comments a lot of people dont realize how big a difference doing something blind is. Even a easy thing you've done a hundred times without effort can take many attempts blind to do at a fraction of the proficiency.
A lot of people seem to think it just boils down to "makes things unreasonably harder" when it completely changes how you have to go about playing the game.

I haven't done any blind runs myself, but even when I'm just running in a straight line in Borderlands or something and resting my eyes for a moment, I have no idea how close I am to my target without opening my eyes again. Not fighting, not even turning, just running in a straight line and I'm already losing track of my position.
I've not done anything blindfolded, but my understanding is it's more remembering a ton of setups that take you to the next setup repeatedly. It's closer to remembering an algorithm, since once you're off the path there's nearly no way back onto it in most games and cases.
Yeah I'm always reminded of the mythbuster episode where they try to walk a straight line while blindfolded.. losing your sight makes everything a very different experience.

Apparently the "queen" has now retreated because of all the "haters". Funny that. Since she legitimately has the ability to do the blindfolded kill, why not shut up her "haters" by doing it over and over again, each time addressing any requirements someone comes up with (say, turning off all monitors, let a trusted third-party set up the system and let her play on it). Imagine the triumph she could reap from the current situation. Just a tiny problem that's standing in the way of silencing all of her critics: She cannot do kill the monster blindfolded without cheating.
The most obvious thing for me(besides looking and reading the chat on the right) is the posture and the smile. She only smiles because it pushes the blindfold higher up and therefore makes the gap she's looking through a bit wider.

Seeing this conclusion is one of those bittersweet things. As someone who has had the experience of hunting with her and respected her Greatsword, I really, really wanted to believe. However, with you and Karl delivering the coup de grace, at least it's finally decided. It's unfortunate; she had genuine talent and didn't need to fake anything to begin in order to be a noteworthy hunter. Integrity should be maintained above all things-- without that, your every accomplishment comes into question. I doubt this ends her career outright (And neither would I wish it upon her), but this really is going to be a blemish on her image that is going to take a lot of work to make up for. I imagine I'm not the only person who is not angered or spiteful, but instead extremely disappointed. I'm certain that much of the sighs of frustration and other expressions of anxiety from her are real. You can only keep up a facade for so long. At this point, no matter how on point she could possibly be, no one with a sound mind is going to be willing to trust it without heavy scrutiny. For the sake of her own mental health and as well as for everyone else, she should just tell the truth and apologize. You didn't need to up the ante, you didn't need to jump the shark, Queen. You already had people who thought you were amazing. Don't throw that away for some parlor tricks. You're better than that.

I think there's no one absolved from behaving with integrity. We're all human, and we make mistakes, but the correct course is to learn from them and become better. I feel like Monster Hunter in particular helped to give me a mindset of always seeking to learn and improve, and to be open to new things. I don't think she expected this level of pressure or pushback, and it is definitely overwhelming her. She's still a human being with feelings, and so while I won't demonize her, I will never excuse anyone--not even myself, from doing something wrong. It's only through acceptance and work on the shadow that we overcome it, not running from it or pretending it doesn't exist.@@zwei7881
I don't hold too much against cheaters if they're able to admit fault, but the double-down is enough proof to me that she does not deserve her success. According to recent commenters, she's continuing to gaslight her audience on Instagram amidst the new evidence. This is the behavior of a pathological liar. People like this are not worth supporting. This entire incident is not just a mask-off moment for her, but also her viewerbase as well. Hand-in-hand, even if these are just trivial gaming achievements, people like her and the viewers she manipulates have great potential to cause real-world harm.

I've jumped to what I presume is her instagram and don't see that anywhere immediately, not that I believe or disbelieve yet. Is this in response to others on instagram in comments from her, or what, exactly? I wouldn't argue that she's already gaslighted her followers to get this far in the first place in this given situation. She already had to go out of her way to deceive them and lie, proclaiming that she is in the right, and I won't excuse it. I don't support that, it's narcissistic behavior, it's abusive, and its unempathic. But put in her position, I can understand the pressure she'd feel to defend herself. Frankly, I've already stated she needs to come clean. And, more frankly, I think she should have come clean far sooner. I'm not a super close follower by any means, but having hunted with her a few times and seen what she CAN do, it upsets me to see this performance from her. The need for recognition and acceptance is quite human and universal, so I understand the motivation. I wish she'd gone about it better. I still want to hold hope that there's a chance she can become a better person from this, which is why despite seeing some discerning behaviors, I'm waiting and seeing. I have dealt with enough narcissists in my life to avoid being ensnared, but I don't want to jump to a conclusion and assume she is one based on this singular time frame, where emotions and tension are high. I said the the same type of thing on Karl's video. but she has her wires so clean on top of her desk. Almost none of them have extra cable on top of the desk. But she has a rogue AV cable going to the right side where we can't see. it stands out for me on the screen of her hand cam because so few wires are on the desk despite everything that she has one it. Even the keyboard cable is neatly lead across and then back behind the keyboard so that she can pull the keyboard towards her for comfort and then put it back. I'm not OCD about cable management. I just have a bit of experience using other people's setups in the past and how they can be about cables.

Every time people get caught faking speed runs, there's always a laundry list of things that it gets blamed on: being depressed, being bullied, having mental health issues, cheating on purpose as a way to "inform" the community, someone else, someone hacking their account, or going on some insane rants that sound like conspiracy theories.
The fact that the mod would comment and try to make it seem like youre the villain for asking for a proof check is actually insane, even if youd done it 20+ times, its not in any way a disruptive request. If the blindfold couldnt be unfolded, she would easily be able to show that on stream in mere seconds

I've seen so much fake blindfold stuff, from Plants versus Zombies to Super Mario 64.
It feels like unless it consistently uses standardized setups and frequently stops to approach things step by step it is cheated in some capacity. It is really a shame how easy it is to fake these runs for free clout.

Anyways, the biggest red flag for both of her "blindfolded" runs was that she kept her camera vertically centered for the entire fight. No other blindfolded streamer does this because it is impossible to do when you can't see.
